Job Description
Apply paint, varnish, stain, etc. to interior and exterior surfaces with brushes, rollers, and/or sprayers.
Properly prepare surfaces prior to application of finish including but not limited to sanding, filling holes, and cleaning.
Maintain shop areas, all paints and painting supplies, equipment and associated parts of the assigned trade.
Perform preventative maintenance as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma preferred.
One (1) year of previous paint and paperhanging experience preferred.
Must have hand and finger dexterity necessary to accomplish duties.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time during a shift.
Other physical requirements include but are not limited to grasping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, bending, and twisting.
Must possess knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards.
Knowledge of all necessary hand tools and painting equipment.
Must be able to match paint and wallpaper colors.
Must have excellent communication skills.

Welding/Paint Supervisor- 1st Shift

Welding/Powder coat Supervisor Bring your leadership skills and welding or powder coat experience to an excellent company in Grand Island, NE!
is responsible for managing the Robotic Welding, Paint & Assembly production areas
lead with safety and is responsible for ensuring that direct reports follow safety protocols.
will work with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering to take corrective action on quality problems.
will assume responsibility and accountability for production results in terms of methods, quality, and efficiency of production.
responsible for building production schedules and delivery dates as directed by Production Control and ensure that all paperwork is correctly processed through the system.
Pay: $25-$30 DOE
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of welding and/or powder coating experience (leadership preferred).
Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding and powder coating processes.
Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
