Responsibilities: * Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primer * Mix and apply paint, coatings, or finishes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers * Operate and maintain paint equipment, booths, and ventilation systems * Inspect finished work for quality, proper thickness, and appearance * Follow work orders, production schedules, and safety procedures * Maintain accurate records of materials used * Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance * Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety and environmental guidelines * Work collaboratively with production teams and supervisors * Follow all Trane safety policies, including PPE, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and 5S practices Qualifications: * Experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or automotive painting preferred * Ability to read work instructions, paint specs, and safety data sheets (SDS) * Knowledge of spray equipment, finishing techniques, and coating processes * Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a production environment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work safely with chemicals and materials * High school diploma or equivalent typically required Key Competencies: * Experience with powder coating or electrostatic painting * Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices * Basic mechanical aptitude We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
