Powder coat metal components at a high-level of quality to meet specs. Maintain quality of powder finish and wash. Identify quality problems in gloss, evenness of finish, and color. Maintain powder coat equipment. Assure proper powder is used according to spec. Store powder correctly. Assist with loading and unloading metal components from the Power Coat line as needed. Grind, polish, sand welded parts to ensure conformance to established customer needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Self-motivated and energetic. Mechanically minded. Must have quality mindset. Must have visual acuity to see quality and finish defects (gloss, etc.). Must have excellent color vision. Has respect for equipment and cleanliness of work area. Computer background helpful.
