As an Autobody/Painter, you will surface automotive components and vehicles to meet high-quality standards while ensuring compliance with all safety rules and regulations. You will work with a variety of materials to meet customer needs, pay close attention to details, and accurately distinguish colors. The position also involves operating manual and power tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, ratchets, and wrenches, as well as industrial pneumatic equipment such as openers, crushers, and mixers. Additionally, you will read and follow hazard labels and other required information to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

REQUIREMENTS
* 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
* Be at least 18 years of age

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish. Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting. Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment. Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work. Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of painting experience
Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
