Collingswood Manor, a UMC Community in Camden County, is a 5-Star full-service senior living community that is a model in person-centered care community, located in beautiful Collingswood, NJ is seeking a Painter.
Requirements for a Painter:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years painting experience in commercial and residential setting.
Responsibilities for a Painter:
Paint all areas of the community with appropriate materials. Refinish furniture, windows and doors.
Repair and prep surfaces for painting such as sanding, filling holes/cracks with caulk, putty, plaster, etc.
Repair damaged wallpaper or decorative coverings made of paper, vinyl or fabric. Prepare surfaces by applying necessary compounds to seal surfaces. Remove old covering by soaking, steaming or applying solvents.
Responsible for cleaning and the maintenance of all paint equipment as well as the area worked in.
Advise Supervisor of supplies needed and place orders as directed to maximize life expectancy.
May perform Work Orders for the Building.
May perform Preventative Maintenance of the building.

As a Handyman for Fearless Restaurants, you are responsible for the general maintenance of our restaurants and equipment, updating spaces with new paint, repairing broken hardware, heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtering, electrical work, and pest control as needed.
You will be performing interior and exterior painting and decorating as assigned. All surfaces will need to be prepared for painting by using any of the following methods: paint removers, scrapers, wire brushes, sanders, blow torches, sandblasting, etc. Any holes, crevices, and cracks must be filled. Joints must be sealed with putty, caulking, and other filler. You will be responsible for preparing and mixing any paints or finishes as required. Paints, lacquers, stains, varnishes, and finishes will be applied using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and applicators.
Must be comfortable with heights and the use of ladders, scaffolding, etc. May be asked to install wall coverings such as wallpapers or fabrics. All work areas must be cleaned upon the completion of a task and at the end of each working day. Must perform duties in compliance with safety regulations and any other assigned duties related to the above.
This candidate will have a desire to continue to learn and grow within our organization. The ideal painter is positive, responsible, hands-on, and a team player that has strong communication skills and can handle multiple tasks in a friendly manner with grace and composure.
