The Painter is responsible for the accurate paint application for every vehicle repaired. The Painter is responsible for the consistent and timely delivery of the paint repair production services provided to the repair shop. The Painter must maintain Quality Assurance according to the highest standards. It is the Painter's responsibility to manage the paint technician helpers, equipment, product usage and workspace in the paint area for maximum efficiency, organization and profitability.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of all paint operations at the center.
Supervision of paint prepper team members including, ability to recruit, hire, terminate and perform company disciplinary action process in conjunction with the Center Leader
Participates in the establishment of goals and objectives for the paint team and administers the training accordingly
Ensures paint production schedule as designated by Center Leader each day.

Monitors and plans paint shop supplies & material usage for one week of repairs, maintaining availability and ensuring waste elimination.
Ensures a clean and safe work area, all paint techs utilize PPE equipment effectively, hazardous waste compliance is followed for the department.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained, and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint, and using brushes, rollers, and spray-guns.
Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric, and foil wall coverings.
Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering.
Manage related supply inventory.
