Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for painting, maintenance, or repair, the interior and exterior of buildings, structures, and facilities painting different types of surfaces such as wood, drywall, plaster, metal, concrete, masonry, fiberglass, plastic and glass.
Tapes, flushes, repairs and applies texture, wallpaper and acoustic layers on a variety of surfaces.
Adjusts colors when necessary; utilizes enhanced finishing skills when appropriate.
Applies materials to new construction, existing, multi-story buildings, alterations and remodeling's.
Shall paint street and curb markings, special parking markings, road speed limits, caution lines, stop bars, yield lines and directional markings.
Perform wall to wall and entire ceiling painting on an “as needed basis” during change of occupancy maintenance; spot painting is prohibited.
Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and electrostatic/pneumatic sprayers, pumps, etc. Safely stores and labels all materials.
Maintains appropriate service and repair records.
Reads and understands blueprints, work plans and maps.
Responsible for proper storage, disposal, and spill prevention of all hazardous waste IAW local, state and federal laws.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
Journeyman level Painter preferred.
Residential and commercial/industrial practices and processes of the painting trade; paints, varnishes, lacquers, enamels, epoxies, paint removers, and related materials, and of their properties and application; applicable code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Painter for the hours of Sunday through Thursday, 10pm to 6:30am. The successful candidate will train on either the day or 2nd shift. This role requires a minimum of 5 years in industrial painting or 10 years in general painting with brush and roller techniques.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a joystick-controlled sandblaster to remove rust from metal parts.
+ Use an overhead crane to load parts onto hooks for transportation into the paint machine.
+ Operate a sprayer to paint parts inside the booth.
+ Perform machine setup, product processing, and equipment maintenance following defined operating parameters.
+ Utilize Standard Specifications, SOPs, manufacturing orders, and drawings to meet quality and product standards.
+ Execute process setups and value-add activities to meet daily production demands.
+ Continuously build job knowledge through SOP execution and skills matrix development.
+ Participate in team performance and improvement meetings (5S, Root Cause Analysis, PRP, TPM, SOPs).
+ Conduct quality checks and inspections as needed.
+ Adhere to all company policies.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency with paint booth operations, sandblasting, industrial painting techniques, and spray gun usage.
+ Experience in powder coating and paint preparation.
+ Ability to operate overhead cranes and perform machine operations.
+ Familiarity with sanding and industrial painting processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion (Company offers a GED program).
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs+ (40 lbs+ independently).
+ Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
+ Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.

SUMMARY
This position performs painting work and various duties as needed that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Completes assigned painting requests from ownership and property leaders, as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and addressing needs accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
2. Completes the "make-ready" process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a "punch" list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
3. Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property's maintenance department by tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location, and notifying the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
4. Completes documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
5. Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
6. Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Complies with Greystar's safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in the property's routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.
2. May periodically inspect work performed by contractors, vendors and other service providers to verify the work, materials and services meet quality standards, scope and specifications as required.
