How your work would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region: This position will work in an industrial-type environment preparing and painting surfaces using the appropriate practices, methods, techniques, procedures, and equipment. This position will be required to work at any Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) facility as assigned. What you would do in this job Prepare and paint surfaces using appropriate methods (sandblast, waterblast, sand, spray, scrape, etc.). Apply protective coatings by means of (brush, roller, airless sprayer, etc.). Stencil and stripe roadways and parking lots. Prepare and finish drywall surfaces (tape, sand, paint, etc.) using appropriate methods and equipment. Perform related duties as assigned.
