Scrape and sand-out roughness to prepare surfaces for priming/painting. Clean surface of mildew prior to priming/painting. Remove fixtures such as pictures and electric switch covers from walls prior to painting. Fill nail holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fill prior to priming. Spread drop cloth over floors and room furnishings and cover surfaces such as baseboards, door frames and windows to protect surfaces during painting. Paint surfaces with brushes, spray gun and/or paint rollers. Complete basic carpentry tasks (i.e. measuring, cutting, nailing, etc.) Repair bed posts. Complete drywall installation including taping and finishing joints and patches. Assist Engineers/Carpenter when necessary. Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Guest rooms, (occupied and unoccupied) meeting rooms, The Sports Club, Birdwood Golf Course, dining rooms, kitchens, meeting space, Spa and all back-of house areas.
