About The Opportunity

Essential Functions:
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
Assists in planning and supervising of the management of all golf course related areas. (greens, tees, fairways, roughs, range, etc.)
Develop, train, and supervise staff to perform all related golf course management functions and use of the equipment.
Participates in the operation and management of pump, irrigation, and drainage systems.

Qualification:
Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy/plant/soil sciences desired, or equivalent knowledge and experience, which may include a turf certificate or Associate Degree in Turfgrass Science offered by some universities
Requires current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator
Familiarity with and knowledge of the game of golf
Developing knowledge of:

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands, bend, and stoop, remain at post standing for periods of time, walk for a long distance, and is required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
