Job Summary:
The Assistant Golf Course Mechanic, under the supervision of the Head Mechanic, performs and maintains all aspects of vehicle, equipment and cutting reel maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
Lubricate equipment in accordance to manufacturer guidelines
Perform preventative maintenance
Check and change oil, fluids and filters
Replace hoses, belts, water pumps, batteries, etc.
Adjust brakes, tire pressure and gas gauges
Inspect radiators, water levels and antifreeze
Repair or change flat tires
Assist in scheduling equipment servicing
Assist Head Mechanic in moderate to complex overhaul of: engines, transmissions, drive units, brakes, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, alternators, electrical systems, instrumentations, etc.
Maintain records of work performed and schedules for future PM's
Clean and maintain in and around shop facilities, equipment, tools, and parts room
Use a variety of testing equipment such as amp meters, voltmeters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment to streamline repairs
Test drive equipment
Set up and maintain all mowing equipment:
Check height of cut
Conditions reels and bedknives
Inspect rollers, bearings, cables, clutches, belts, and headlights
Use grinding equipment
Maintain all facilities located within GCM
Assist in maintenance of all club equipment
Communicate needs and conditions of equipment
Monitor organization of GCM facilities
Monitor equipment during use
Monitor inventory
Assist in managing budget and ordering supplies
Ability to order parts and communicate needs during head mechanics absence
Perform any other task as required by Head Mechanic for GCM and Palmetto Bluff Club
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills; team orientated

Previous experience in GCM desired
Previous experience in the repair and maintenance of a variety of automotive or mechanical equipment

Physical Requirements:
Majority of tasks are performed outdoors in variable weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy and rainy.
Temperatures can be extreme but are usually moderate.
Frequently works near moving/mechanical parts.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands, bend and stoop, remain at post standing for periods of time, walk for a long distance, and is required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color and peripheral. The noise level in the shop is usually moderate to loud.
Due to the busy nature of a garage, the associate must be able to routinely work well under pressure, remain calm, and be tactful with co-workers.

Responsibilities
As an Equipment Engineer, you will provide technical oversight of all Cell Therapy and Viral Vector equipment and will work with the Manufacturing and Quality Control departments during the full equipment life cycle. This role supports day-to-day operations, equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across all critical GMP departments, including such equipment as incubators, Biological Safety Cabinets, Lovos, Prodigies, and any new Cell Therapy equipment.

Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Plant Manager to maintain production schedules and quality standards.
2. Maintain housekeeping standards in maintenance, production, and common areas.
3. Maintain documentation and reports as required for audits, safety, and performance tracking.
4. Oversee all plant equipment to ensure proactive maintenance planning, including routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to enable maximum productivity.
5. Perform mechanical repairs on Raymond mill(s), pneumatic conveying system, jaw crusher, belt conveyors, motors, valves, and other plant equipment to minimize downtime.
6. Monitor and maintain proper functioning of equipment such as conveyors, mixers, and control panels, addressing operational issues as they arise.
7. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or other Company management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree in mechanical repair or other relevant field is a plus.
At least five (5) years of prior relevant maintenance-related work experience; prior work experience involving mill maintenance would be highly advantageous.
Prior experience working in an MHSA-regulated environment is a plus.
Crane operator certification and work experience is essential.
Prior welding work experience is required.
Forklift operation certification and work experience is essential.
Valid driver's license and the maintenance of a driving record satisfactory to the Company.
Requirements
1. High School Diploma or GED required; Technical or Bachelor's degree preferred.

SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing maintenance issues, making repairs, and completing maintenance requests in a timely manner. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the apartment community including the grounds and common areas and to provide a quality living environment for residents. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs maintenance duties including work orders and preventative maintenance activities, with minimal supervision consistent with company policies and procedures and direction from supervisor(s), completes documentation and necessary paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner to document and track maintenance activities.
Ensures apartments are ready for occupancy by performing various and as needed electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other miscellaneous maintenance and repairs necessary or directed.
Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up/emptying trash and debris, vacuuming, moping, pressure washing breezeways and commons areas, general cleaning as needed and other areas as directed.
Repairs minor problems of buildings and foundations, including ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and all mechanical contents of the building.
Assists with unit turns, move outs, apartment inspections, and work orders.
Applies knowledge of building operating systems such as HVAC, security and sprinkler systems, fire alarms, plumbing, heating, electrical, and any other related setups to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and/or repairs.
Complies with company standards and applicable laws including but not limited to; Fair Housing, OSHA, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, OSHA, and EEOC. Attends and participates in company safety meetings and required trainings and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly to supervisor.
Reports known safety hazards, equipment, and customer concerns to supervisor.
Responds quickly to emergency situations during work hours and on-call coverage.
Follows established process for inventory of supplies and materials at the community, by tracking inventory used, returning unused inventory, and notifying supervisor about re-ordering needs. Supports cost saving initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and not being wasteful with materials and supplies.
Maintains high levels of customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and associates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
