What You Will Do:

Monitor state insurance departments and regulations for updates/changes to licensing requirements and/or and procedures.

Apply for credit insurance license for new branch locations and assist in resolving issues that arise in background checks.
Serve as the go-to liaison between employees and state licensing departments and provide assistance in resolving issues related to background checks.
Review GAP contracts submitted by PFS branches and prepare the remittance reports as well as forward contracts and remittances to the insurer.
Manage claim submissions and processing for assumed insurance from reviewing claims submitted by customers to ensuring claims are complete and submitted to the correct insurance companies.
Retrieve the report of claims paid then forward and/or maintain all information as required to reconcile claim payments.
Prepare and remit monthly credit insurance premiums to insurers and reinsured companies.

Establish priority accounts (realtors, builders, title companies, etc.) and visit respective offices at least once a week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Open new accounts and ensure complete, accurate documentation is obtained from clients

Image and index all deposit and client documentation to ensure proper recordkeeping
Perform account maintenance, including adding/removing signers and updating client records
Respond to client inquiries regarding bank products, services, account details, and policies, conduct account research, file and process fraud claims
Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities, recommending additional bank products and services that align with clients' operational needs
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of banking systems, internal processes, tools and resources available to associates, and controls designed to protect the bank and our clients
Research and resolve exceptions in required documentation; loan, collateral and deposit exceptions, assist with past dues
Provide loan support to relationship teams, collection of payments and fees, processing advances on lines of credit
Demonstrate knowledge of the loan documentation process, including the ability to identify and differentiate internal loan documents, as well as an understanding of attorney-prepared documentation
Collaborate with Loan Operations, Treasury Management and Deposit Operations to ensure ongoing, satisfactory monitoring of lending, depository and Treasury Management services for clients

Tellering:

Always deliver assistance in a safe and secure manner. Ensures associates understand the importance of knowing the member and the depth of their relationship.
Provide excellent member service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
Always be professional and pleasant in handling member transactions. Oversee associates in receiving deposits, loan payments, and transfers; transacts cash or check withdrawals; provides cashiers checks, money orders and any other service within their authority.
Maintain a balanced and secured cash drawer.
Properly use authority to permit availability of funds for checks up to and including $__________ without further approval.
Management:
Develops Tellers and has responsibility for member service line goals to drive growth in members, loans, and deposits.
Has responsibility of accurate cash ordering to fulfill the needs to the members.
Work closely with associates to monitor and assist them through the progression of appropriate Member Service Project certifications.
Responsible for the balancing and security of vault cash, travelers' cheques, all consigned tickets, and negotiable instrument(s) in the office.

Qualifications
4+ years of cash handling and customer service experience required, preferably in a retail banking or credit union setting.
2+ years of previous supervisory experience with customer service/sales is required.
High School Diploma or GED is required, college degree preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
Prior head tellering experience preferred.
Bilingual candidates a plus.
