Job Summary
This Admissions Counselor has primary responsibility for engaging with, supporting, and encouraging prospective bachelor's, master's, and/or PhD students through the admissions process. This role is a vital part of the Office of Admissions, directly contributing to the enrollment goals of the University. As an Admissions Counselor, you'll become a subject matter expert in admissions requirements, assisting the University in meeting enrollment goals in an ethical manner focused on student fit and well-being. Enrollment Conversion: Work closely with prospective students to encourage the submission of their application and registration.
Data and Reporting: Assist the team in admissions reporting and forecasting by providing insights into program applicant pipelines. Ensure excellent quality control within the admissions process, including keeping careful notes regarding communications with and about students within HubSpot.
Policy Adherence: Clearly understand and apply University admissions policies and procedures fairly and consistently, seeking clarification when unsure.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the admissions team to ensure a "warm handoff" for applicants once their application is submitted.

SOUTHWESTERN LAW SCHOOL in Los Angeles invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor of Law or Professor of Law to begin in Summer 2026. The successful candidate will teach in our Legal Analysis, Writing, and Skills (LAWS) program (50%) and will serve as Director of the Legal Writing Center (50%). Both positions report to the LAWS Director.
These non-tenure-track positions will begin with a two-year contract. In the third year, the candidate may apply for a presumptively renewable long-term contract (between 5 and 7 years long). Those with more than three years of full-time faculty experience at an ABA-approved law school may be eligible for advanced standing.
Non-tenure-track faculty vote on virtually all issues in faculty meetings, including faculty appointments. They also serve on faculty committees, hold significant administrative positions, and are eligible for summer research stipends. Although there is no scholarship expectation, those who are productive scholars are eligible for sabbaticals.
Compensation: The anticipated starting salary for someone with three years of full-time teaching experience at an ABA-approved law school is $150,000.
Director, Legal Writing Center (~50%)
The Director oversees the Writing Center's operations and programs supporting student writing for coursework, co-curricular activities, and professional development.
Core responsibilities include:
Staffing and supervision: hire, train, and supervise part-time Writing Center staff (typically student writing fellows and a Writing Center specialist).
Student support delivery: maintain a consultation schedule covering critical reading skills, legal and general writing style, the writing process, revision, grammar/usage, punctuation, citations, and using AI tools; provide individual consultations for students at all levels.
Upper-division writing support: work with upper-division students from topic generation through citations.
Resources and training materials: develop and deliver writing resources (online materials, handouts, guides, and workshop materials).
Online J.D. support: develop asynchronous materials for Online J.D. students (and others) accessible through Canvas.
Workshops and outreach: review and update the Writing Workshop curriculum annually; build the annual workshop schedule; teach workshops; and guest lecture in classes on writing style/structure/revision/citations.
Programming innovation: create or offer programming to engage writing development through varied approaches (e.g., storytelling initiative).
Coordination and communication: coordinate Writing Center activities with faculty and administrators and promote Writing Center programming and materials.
Budget, operations, and assessment: prepare and manage the budget, provide an annual written report, and stay current on trends and best practices (including tracking students served and programming).
Teaching (~ 50%)
All 1L students complete a six-unit, year-long course titled Legal Analysis, Writing, and Skills, which introduces them to core lawyering skills and prepares them for the real-world demands of practice. LAWS includes substantial instruction in legal analysis, research, objective and persuasive writing, and professional identity formation.
LAWS culminates in a hands-on advocacy experience in one of three tracks: appellate advocacy, negotiation, or trial practice. We seek candidates who are passionate about teaching, can demonstrate success in the classroom, enjoy working with students outside the classroom, and will contribute to the campus community through committee and related service.
Southwestern also offers a mostly asynchronous Online J.D. program with full-time and part-time options. We expect many faculty hired in the coming years to teach in that program at some point.
The successful candidate may also be asked to teach advanced writing or drafting courses or other courses within their expertise.
Starting in Summer 2027, the successful candidate may also be asked to teach a pre-matriculation Introduction to Legal Writing course for additional compensation.
Minimum Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.
At least three years of experience teaching legal writing or directing or working in a legal writing center. We will consider significant part-time work or running an undergraduate or other graduate or professional Writing Center as substitute experience.
Excellent teaching and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and administrators.
Must be in or willing to relocate by August 2026 to the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in rhetoric, English, or a related field, or an M.F.A. or master's degree in a writing-related field.

The Stable Hand/Horse Groom is responsible for aiding in the overall operations of the Red Barn Student Equestrian Center, reporting to the General Manager. This person will be responsible for the feeding, turnout and blanketing of Stanford and the boarders' horses, and for the cleaning and maintenance of the barns. This position may require working mornings, weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.

* Use pitchfork to pick up manure in the stall, twisting torso 180 degrees to deposit in wheelbarrow.
* Push fully loaded wheelbarrow up to 200'
* Dump fully loaded wheelbarrow
* Reload wheelbarrow with shavings
* Standing and/or walking for up to 2 hours at a time
* Turnout horses
* Reach up to place halter on horse's head (up to 6')
* Walk horse up to 500' to paddock
* Feed horses
* Climb up hay to help push 5-10 bales of hay onto ground
* Lift or help lift 7 hay bales weighing in excess of 80Lbs into Gator
* Drive Gator and stop at each stall to pick up flake of hay and turn body to throw it into stall
* Clean and maintain the various fixtures and common areas in the barns and adjacent areas
* Clean Round Pen, paddocks, and Eurosicer
* Use pitchfork to pick up manure and load into Gator
* Use hose to wash down arena walls
* Operate the farm tractor and perform site maintenance as requested
* Pick up large 20-30 Gallon tubs loaded with up to 20-50Lbs of manure and sand to dump up into Gator for disposal
* Get up onto tractor, stepping up 3' and pulling self up to seat

* Ability to turn and look 180 degrees over shoulder every 5 minutes to ensure even harrowing

Qualifications:
A successful Stable Hand/Horse Groom will be responsible, ethical, take direction well, and work well with others. A basic working knowledge of stables operations and prior experience working closely with horses are also required. A qualified applicant will also be detail-oriented and able to work independently. The Division of Neuromuscular Medicine in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board certified neuromuscular neurologist and neuromuscular electrophysiologist to join the Department as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.
The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Responsibilities for this position will include joining our current team of 17 neuromuscular neurologists in multidisciplinary and neuromuscular clinics, satellite clinics, electrophysiology laboratories and on the inpatient consult service. New faculty will also participate in medical student, neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship teaching, and work with the existing neuromuscular clinical research infrastructure to launch clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies and collaborate with colleagues in autonomic neurology, pediatric neurology, neurogenetics, neuroimmunology, cardiology, pulmonology and related fields.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant should have medical licensure in California with board certification in Neurology and board eligibility in Neuromuscular Medicine or Clinical Electrophysiology/EMG.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have helped direct large multi-disciplinary clinics, especially those who have managed data organization from electronic medical records into database systems. Candidates with clinical and translational research experience as well as experience administering and managing novel immunomodulatory, cell-based and genetic treatments are desired. Candidates are encouraged to further specialize within the neuromuscular field and will be provided appropriate mentorship.

We are seeking applicants for the position of Director, Sports Turf. Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director, Facilities and Capital Planning, you will oversee a staff of athletics groundskeepers and manage day-to-day turf management for all athletic playing fields for Stanford Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee day to day sports turf operation, including maintenance planning, scheduling and staffing.
* Develop strategic plans in equipment, staffing and water efficiency.
* Oversee and/or monitor project activities; ensure integration with larger unit goals; coordinate with internal staff, subcontractors, and/or vendors.
* Clarify and resolve problems spanning multiple areas or technical fields and/or develop programs within assigned facilities.
* Oversee groundskeeper staffing and performance evaluation of assigned staff; contributing to department or division staffing needs forecast.
* Manage and/or develop annual budget for sports turf unit, including staffing, maintenance, contracts, etc.
* Manage ongoing service contracts with third parties as applicable.
* Participate in department/unit strategic management, including making recommendations involving short- term planning for facility-type projects and for longer-range programs/projects;
* Research and report latest innovations in field maintenance and irrigation

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management or other appropriate technical area, or combination of education training, and experience. Two or more years of experience managing facilities operations and maintenance staff.
* Six or more years of sports turf management experience is preferred.
* Required to have Qualified Applicator Certification; Qualified Applicator License, or an ability to obtain a QAL preferred.
* Great communications and positive relationships with outside groups, students, faculty, staff.
* Outstanding organizational and communication skills in a fast paced environment
* Must have the ability to work on deadlines and handle several responsibilities simultaneously.

The Stanford Department of Pediatrics, Division of Rheumatology is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, motivated, collaborative Clinical Research Epidemiologist I (Academic Program Professional 1) to join the Immune Behavioral Health/ PANS Research Team. The Stanford Immune Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinical Research Program operates adjacent a pediatric multidisciplinary clinic established in 2012 to care for patients with infection-associated neuropsychiatric deteriorations and co-morbid inflammatory conditions (i.e. arthritis, vascular inflammation, etc) symptoms. Led by PI Dr. Jennifer Frankovich, the research program collects longitudinal clinical data and biospecimens to carry out research looking at the immune system, proteomics, microbiome, metabolomics, and genomics at Stanford and with collaborators/ basic scientists globally with the ultimate goal of better understanding the underpinnings of illness and improving diagnosis, care, and treatment for affected individuals.
The Program's hopeful Clinical Research Epidemiologist I will work under the general direction of faculty and Senior Epidemiologist to develop, implement, and administer the vision, strategy, and goals of the assigned academic entity/program(s). Incumbent will work closely with Senior Epidemiologist to develop analysis plans using data from a large clinical patient cohort. Ideal candidates will have expertise in designing and conducting epidemiological studies, and will be an enthusiastic, resourceful, proactive, bright, organized, and collaborative. Candidates should have a background in clinical epidemiology, +/-biostatistics, or another similar quantitative discipline, with experience working with large relational databases and strong skills in statistical analyses and will conduct data analyses including but not limited to: linear/logistic regression, mixed effects modeling, and time-series/survival analysis.
In addition to carrying out statistical studies, incumbent will assist with manuscript development/writing, as well grant writing. This individual will work closely with the P.I., other investigators, research managers, epidemiologists, research analysts, coordinators, students and trainees to organize and execute research agenda. Incumbent will also meet with and advise students, interns and junior research staff on their respective research projects. Individual should contribute to a positive work environment and be of high integrity and able to maintain strict confidentiality of all study subjects.

The Immune Behavioral Health/PANS Research Program within the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University is seeking an Academic Program Professional 1/ Clinical Research Epidemiologist I to work under the direction of faculty or other management to implement and administer the vision, strategy, and goals of the assigned academic entity/program(s).
Duties include:
* Oversee and administer research activities by evaluating academic programs, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and coordinating and implementing changes.
* Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends to determine program effectiveness; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program.
