Job highlights
The visit, which lasts about 45 minutes, allows for time to connect one-on-one and answer health questions. It includes a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and, if ordered by the person?s health plan, additional diagnostic tests (i.e., diabetic eye exams, spirometry, etc.). You?ll use an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow for each evaluation and are not required to prescribe medicine, order lab tests or alter people?s current treatment regimen.

Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of the Supervising Physicians.
Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performs comprehensive physical examination; compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
Work under protocol to develop an effective, safe and patient-centered treatment plan.
Provide timely and complete clinical documentation in the EHR following patient visits or telephone calls.
Maintain ongoing communication with the supervising physicians regarding assigned patients and provide timely notification of changes in patient status.
Attend case conferences, clinical rounds, and other types of meetings which address patient management and care coordination as required.
Maintain ongoing communication with other members of the entire care team through written documentation, telephone or in-person conversation.

Ensure timely access of patient appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Virtual care to patients when needed and clinically appropriate.
Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health Issues
DEA required for prescribing and dispensing
Ability to pass on-site credentialing
Current license in the state(s) where PhysicianAssistant will practice
Comply with all medical laws and HIPAA standards
Current license in the state or states where physician will practice.
Strong desire to promote health, disease management and prevention.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm
