    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Work from the directions of the supervisor to move Wind Tower sections, set up and operate the MIG welders, Follow and complete daily build schedule. * Weld, grind, and repair each Wind Tower section prior to presenting it to the Quality Inspectors. This person will also repair all weld defects as directed by the Quality Inspectors * Perform most of the work individually. Essential tools and welding equipment will be provided, however, accountability and maintenance will be the employee's responsibility * Work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time product without manufacturing errors * Perform other duties as directed by leaders and management * Clamp, grind, tack-weld, or bolt components into position before welding * Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all safety policies and procedures. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required. * Embrace culture of Lean Manufacturing and the implementation of change * Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES * To carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and departmental works instructions. * To contribute to general improvements in the quality of key activities within the department. * Comply with all Keystone Tower Systems Company and HSE procedures and policies. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * A minimum of 1 year of experience with MIG welding in a manufacturing environment JOB REQUIREMENTS * Ability to identify and communicate maintenance or product problems to departmental supervision * Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results * Incumbent to pass an AWS welder qualification test and be able to use the MIG welding equipment without difficulty * Knowledge of welding properties of variety of metals and alloys, welding procedures, and practices essential to ensure the quality of the product * Ability to calculate formula using basic mathematics, standard U.S. and Metric Measurements * Able read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, manufacturing drawings or similar information * Ability to lift 75+ pounds
