The main responsibility of our Field Service Technicians is to provide onsite technical support to customer specific Panasonic products including installation and troubleshooting of SMT Manufacturing production machines. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for building and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires extensive travel both internationally and domestically. Full training will be provided. This role can be based out of either the Chicago or Atlanta Area Responsibilities Establish a strong understanding of the technical specifications of our product so that a high level of assistance can be provided to our customers. Provide professional support and repair at customer sites through interaction of service and factory support. Uses technical knowledge to make decisions regarding repair of product and software. Technical Knowledge Support * Provides technical support for one or more products or processes that Panasonic SMT solutions provide. * Carries out technical assignments to install, modify, and repair factory automation equipment and software at customer sites, with minimal assistance or supervision. * Maintains knowledge of the SMT process. This includes managing and directing the activities of Area Sales Manager(s) in their assigned region. Primary, day-to-day responsibility to manage their Area Sales Manager(s) and Independent Sales Representatives in their region. Facilitating calls on sales channel partners, installers, contractors, engineers, specifiers, and architects as part of an independently planned sales program designed to meet the sales targets of the company and the needs of the territory. Sales program is based on detailed analysis of data related to territory and presented in a compelling manner through use of automation tools like Salesforce and CMD. + Maintains clear, complete, and accurate records of all contacts and potential business in the format requested by the National Sales Manager + Responsible for active management of distribution channels within territory under guidelines established by the company. + Develops plans and makes proposals for promotional activities to meet the specific needs of territory. + Responsible for superior Customer Satisfaction in region including direct customers and end users of our products and services. + Gather construction data and project leads.
