Track MTTR, MTBF, and OEE, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met. Maintain 6S organization and cleanliness practices on the production line. Promote continuous improvement through feedback, using tools like 6S, TPM, and SMED to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Assist with miscellaneous duties, including aiding operators, product validation, and new product development trials. Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Pay & Growth Opportunities: Starting Wage: $16.00/hour (includes training period) Increase to $17.00/hour after meeting a production goal of 30 quality units/hour for 30 consecutive days Promotion to Embroidery Lead ($18.00/hour) available after 90 days of consistent performance and completion of peer training Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate multi-head embroidery machines with proper threads, needles, and materials Interpret design specifications to ensure proper placement and alignment Inspect completed products for quality, addressing any issues promptly Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on machines Hoop and prepare garments accurately for embroidery Maintain organized records of machine settings, inventory, and completed work Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum 6 months of experience in a fast-paced production environment Embroidery or sewing experience a HUGE plus Great Manual Dexterity - This is precise, detailed work that requires constant manipulation and use of hands and fingers Patience - You will have to re-thread needles on the machine many times throughout the day Coachability - You must be willing to learn and able to keep up with training Able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for the entirety of your shift Strong attention to detail and ability to meet hourly production goals Good communication skills and teamwork mindset Reliable transportation If you are interested in this full time Embroidery Machine Operator position in Durham, NC please apply now!
