Install, replace, repair, clean and maintain all car wash related equipment at the lowest possible cost. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and service calls as well as site checks and inspections of carwash to ensure optimal operation for stores and customers. Responsible to perform monthly cleaning of in-bay and wash room equipment. Responsibilities: 1. Maintain all equipment and facilities in good working order. Troubleshoot, diagnose issues and make repairs to equipment in carwash according to established procedures to minimize parts usage. 2. Complete scheduled or assigned preventative maintenance or cleanings per scope of work and on schedule. 3. Communicate issues and provide feedback to the Car Was Field Support Manager regarding maintenance issues, facility/equipment opportunities and outside service vendor performance. 4. Utilize maintenance work order system to complete repair calls, close completed calls, enter resolutions for calls and update calls according to company policies and procedures. Complete assigned work by required deadline. Respond to high priority calls according to company guidelines. 5. Maintain company vehicle and adhere to all state/local/federal laws and company policies regarding operation of a motor vehicle. 6. Attend and participate in all work related meetings, scheduled inventories and training classes. Maintain all certifications as required by manufacturers and local/state/federal law. 7. Maintain truck inventory accurately and manage parts inventory according to company policy and procedures. Maintain assigned tolls according to company policy. Qualifications: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education • High School Diploma/GED required • Technical / Trade training / Sheetz training preferred Experience • No experience required with skilled trade or apprenticeship completion certificate • Minimum 2-year hands-on training experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or a related trade required without a skilled trade or apprenticeship certificate required • Previous car wash maintenance experience preferred. A maintenance technician III is responsible for the installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining of powered equipment, facility, and grounds to provide a safe and productive work environment for all team members, vendors, and visitors. Capture all associated time and parts into the CMMS program to maintain record keeping integrity for part's inventory and man-hour reporting. Deliver a broad variety of preventative and corrective repair service to all assets of the facility, not limited to the conveyor system, forklift, various power equipment, industrial batteries, dock equipment, racking system, lighting and HVAC. Observe machine systems for proper and safe operation; repair and communicate accordingly. Perform service measures in accordance with vendor specified procedures, adhering to all safety protocols. Prioritize duties based on level of impact and business need. Share experience and teaching of others to develop a stronger team. Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform and/or oversee the day-to-day efficient operation, maintenance, and repair needs of assigned stores, include but not limited to HVAC, electrical, lighting, energy management, and hardware. * Plan and/or generate work to be performed and obtain necessary tools, equipment, and materials to complete assignments and work order system entries in a timely manner and in accordance with EPA Regulations. * Inspect and evaluate all areas of assigned stores, offering suggestions for improvements; taking proper corrective action when necessitated (troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration systems, ice machines, air conditioning, heating, and related systems as appropriate, etc.). * Act as a trusted advisor to recommend repairs and upgrades to assigned store managers and maintenance supervisors. * Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, including practicing safe work habits, utilizing appropriate safety equipment, and reporting unsafe conditions * Coordinate and/or conduct the day-to-day organization, and completion of preventive maintenance. * Effectively communicate to the appropriate stakeholders the status of building operations and conditions; promptly reporting any potential or ongoing problems. * Update Control set-points for refrigeration systems and EMS controls. * Responsible for electrical control wiring and troubleshooting of controls. * Analyze mechanical operation of refrigeration and HVAC units for proper operation. * Assist Supervisor in facilitating timely and cost-effective repairs of electrical, and building components and systems including doors, door frames, gaskets, latches, and closures on refrigerated cases. * Accountable for Refrigeration/HVAC spend for assigned stores including repairs to equipment, refrigerant leak rate, and providing the most economical method to repair and maintain equipment. * Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values. * Respond to work order requests and after-hours emergency calls (including on nights and weekends) Qualifications: * • High School diploma or equivalent * Valid driver's license * EPA Certification (Universal) * State Licensures, if required * 3+ years' experience in a related field * Ability to work independently with limited supervision * Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people. * Ability to multi-task. * Excellent troubleshooting skills * Ability to climb ladders for service above ceilings and roof access to equipment * Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. and lift/move 100 lbs.
