That we have a family culture and that we are student first focused.
There seems to be about 2 times as many students that have an entitlement feeling towards work and grades as my previous institution. Many students seem to think that if they pay for the class, they deserve a C.
Being eligible for Social Security and TRS. It’s the only reason that I left my previous institution and drive an extra 45 minutes to Carthage per day.
I enjoy working at Panola College because of the dedication to student's education. At Panola College, we form relationships with the students and help them reach their goals. The faculty and staff work together as a team and strive for a pleasant work environment.
Sometimes at Panola College we have communication struggles. It is so important that each department communicates with other departments in a timely manner. We are working on achieving that goal with meetings and emails.
My favorite benefit at Panola College is the understanding that family needs can be met without fear of reprimanding. I know that I can take the time to attend my daughter's school events and still get work projects accomplished with the help of my departmental team.
