Description:
Weyerhaeuser's Wood Products manufacturing facility in Plymouth, NC has an opportunity for experienced individuals to join our Industrial Maintenance team. A successful candidate will have prior industrial experience, mechanical aptitude and be willing and eager to invest time and energy in training. Including self-study on their own time to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be an industrial electrician.
Starting Pay $24.05
Weekend Shift: Friday through Monday 7:00am to 5:30pm
Key Functions:
Manage the electrical systems in the operation.
Install, repair, and troubleshoot all electrical systems in the operation.
Effectively maintain communications with maintenance personnel and supervisors to perform mill maintenance duties (reactive and preventive) safely and efficiently.
Will also assist with mechanical maintenance functions as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have minimum 2-year electrical experience in a manufacturing facility
Ability to troubleshoot 480v and low voltage electrical systems, AC and DC.
Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints and schematics.
Must demonstrate logical problem-solving skills and react appropriately in upset situations.
Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
Able to work with computerized maintenance system for processes, stores, work orders, etc.
Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problems solving skills.
Dedicated, self-motivated team member, willing and able to work independently and in a team system.
Must be willing and able to work all shifts, weekends, call-ins, holidays, and overtime.
The following qualifications are preferred:
An Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Technology
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with the following technologies: instrumentation, electronics.
Working knowledge of NEC.
General electrical systems (motor starters, lighting circuits, and power distribution equipment).
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC5 and/or Control Logix.
Knowledge of and experience with hand and power tools.
Wood products experience.

This position report to the Planning Supervisor.
What you will do:
Daily planning activities require problem-solving skills to address equipment repair methods, material requirements, cost estimating and time estimating to complete requested work--long term outage planning requires ability to use Microsoft Project and skills to plan, estimate, coordinate, and resolve problems associated with outages
Actively support safety processes and encourage subordinate's support; participates in the process of identifying and selecting appropriate safety precautions, instructions, and required protective gear; ensure compliance with company Safety policies and procedures
Consult with Safety personnel, Maintenance Engineers, Project Engineers, or other specialists as required in the event that expert or specialized advice as required in the event expert or specialized advice is needed (tie off points, lifting plans, etc.)
Keep work areas in compliance with all applicable company, state, federal policies, and procedures
Ensure all MSDS sheets are readily available, and all new chemicals or products are processed through chemical approval process
Ensure that all personnel coming into the work area have the proper training
Act as the principal contact and liaison for all maintenance work
Receive all work orders from the Maintenance Coordinator
Screen each work order to see that it has been properly filled out, is clearly defined, and is realistic in scope
Plan maintenance Work Orders by analyzing basic job steps, determining their relative sequence, and identifying parts, materials, special tooling, skills, and personnel requirements for each step
Obtain maintenance manuals and drawings, as needed
Estimate total cost of each Work Order and task in terms of required direct labor and material
Order necessary material from the warehouse and verify availability via the Advantis System
Work with the Materials Department to procure those parts and materials that are out-of-stock
Issue requisitions for non-warehouse stock materials and special tools
Monitor delivery of these items and works with Material Department to expedite, if necessary
Prepare masterwork orders for preventive maintenance jobs and standing work orders for selected repetitive jobs not included in the PM program
Maintain backlog files of Work Orders awaiting scheduling in accordance with priority limits
Review weekly backlog report
Develop a Maintenance Work Schedule for the following day
Develop a list of jobs from the backlog for the weekly schedule
Meet the deadlines established by the Requesting Department and maintain preventive maintenance schedules in selection of jobs for weekly schedule
Participate in the process of identifying and selecting appropriate safety precautions, instructions, and required protective gear, although ultimate responsibility for this remains with the Maintenance Supervisor and the individual assigned to the task
Attend the Daily Schedule Meeting for scheduling the following days' work.
Finalize schedules, ensuring that the work scheduled balances with the hours available
Coordinate assistance from associated crafts and performs other coordination activities necessary for the orderly and efficient implementation of the scheduled jobs by the supervisor and colleagues
Deliver the Daily Work Order Plan together with the hard copy of Work Orders including job packages each day to the supervisor to discusses any special instructions or considerations to be observed in job follow through
Carefully review completed daily work plans and update job plans then enter actual work completed into work order history detailed by the Supervisor
Comply with all corporate and local protocol when planning work orders and developing requisitions
Monitor costs on work orders and purchase orders to assure compliance with departmental budgeting
Monitor Departmental Maintenance cost, T/S cost, Purchase Order cost to ensure expenditures are within Departmental guidelines
Comply with corporate and protocol spending controls
Recommend expenditures for daily repair activities, long-term outage planning, budgeting process, and capital expenditures
Share in making decisions in the areas of scheduling work and changing departmental procedures
What you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
5 years of experience in Mechanical or I E work (prefer mechanical or I E experience in a chemical plant or mine)
Technical degree or trade school certification is desirable
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
Knowledge of the Advantis planner level system, equipment management system, materials management procedures, and purchasing procedures
Ability to properly use parts books, manuals, blueprints, etc
Theoretical and practical knowledge of all processing methods and equipment related to area of responsibility

Material Handler

Responsible for warehouse cleanliness and proper arrangement of warehouse. Individuals are in charge of making sure warehouse is autocleaning production is maintained properly in the racks. Load, unload and move product and materials by hand, on carts, pallets, skid and pallet jacks following company Safety guidelines and best practices.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately count and record quantities so proper inventory transactions can be made.
Identify those materials moved match descriptions on associated documentation.
Ensure that proper labelling disciplines are followed, and product numbers are up to date.
Ensure that bulk packed materials are properly boxed, taped, wrapped, packed, banded, shrink wrapped or otherwise to ensure safe transportation without incurring damage.
Locate, identify, label and pick required materials as identified on printed pick lists.
Picking and pulling of daily orders without the use of a forklift.
Use of a camera to document both inbound and outbound load conditions and quality issues.

Follow the policies and procedures of the facility governing the administering of medications to residents.
Note and report errors in the administration of medications.
Assist in developing and implementing procedures or programs of the facility that seek to determine what medication errors are taking place, when, where and why they occur and how they can be prevented.
Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, charts, reports, etc., and submit these as required.
Participate and cooperate with any facility surveys/inspections made by authorized government agencies as requested by Administrator.
Participate in QA Programs, the Pharmaceutical Services Committee and any other facility committee or program which affects the medication pass and seeks to improve the performance and accuracy of the medication process.
Attend and participate in Care Plan meetings as necessary.
Attend and participate in continuing education programs designed to keep you updated of changes in your profession, as well as to maintain your certification on a current status.
Follow established safety precautions and report all hazardous conditions and equipment.
Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living according to residents' Care Plan.
Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.
Work cooperatively with all other staff and relate favorably to residents, their families and visitors
Work with resident care coordinator and/or Administrator regarding resolution of residents' needs.
Find coverage for all call-ins for direct care staff.
Keep updated work schedule as call outs or changes occur.
Assure that all training is kept up to date and documented for all staff.
Monitor the halls continuously.
Conduct orientation and supervision of staff during your assigned shift.
Assist with orientation of new residents into the home.
Assure the general well being of the residents at all times.
Meet visitors, responsible parties, family members and social workers and assist in reason for their visit.
Conduct tours of the facility as needed.
Be familiar with and be able to apply all of the adult care home's accident, fire safety, OSHA and emergency procedures.
Listen to the concerns or comments of staff and residents, and report issues to the Administrator.
Assure quick and appropriate response by staff to call lights, alarms, and other signaling devices.
Assure that the care plans of all residents are appropriately implemented.
Assure that medications are stored properly in the building.
Maintain a friendly, productive, working relationship with other members of the department of nursing, attending physicians, the Medical Director and Pharmacists.
Report any complaints or grievances made by residents to the Administrator
Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
Be familiar with resident's bill of rights and assist residents in exercising those rights.
Notify the Director immediately of any concerns of neglect/abuse/exploitation by other staff.
Follow all regulations as required by federal HIPPA laws.
Perform other duties as required by circumstances.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have minimum of six months of supervisory experience.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to Lift, Push, Pull, and Carry a minimum of 50 Pounds.
Must be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, and reach overhead as needed.
Must be CPR Certified or willing to become CPR certified within 60 days of hire.
Must have or obtain C.N.A. or Personal Care Aide Certificate (80-Hour) with Personal Care Aide training within 6-months of hire.
Must have or obtain 15-Hour Medication Aide Certificate within 30-days of Hire.
Must complete Medication Aide Check off within 30-days of Hire.
Must have or obtain Medication Aide Certification within 60-days of Check off.
Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program and maintain during duration of employment.
Must have a clear SBI record and maintain during duration of employment.
Must have a two-step tuberculin skin test (first test prior to hire and second test within two weeks of first test).
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile people within the community.
Must maintain resident confidentiality and resident rights at all times.
Must be available to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

Responsibilities
Triage, interpret and input orders into computerized medication order system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy. Audits input versus documentation and makes corrections as needed
Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations (e.g., converting milligrams)
May resolve issues of denials identified through adjudication, and follow-up claims in Point of Sale (POS)
Maintains current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes
May produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up
Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers in accordance with company values
May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist
Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Pharmacy related experience
Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system; ability to operate a computer
Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs
