Implement strategies to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overall receivables turnover. Provide regular reporting and analysis on receivables performance, including trend analysis, aging reports, collections insights, and customer risk assessments. Process Improvement & Compliance Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting credit and accounts receivable. Support ERP system implementations and process enhancements as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of billing and collections experience in a large organization. 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role. Experience working in a growing business and improving processes to support scalability. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports. Knowledge of credit policies, risk management, and industry standards. ERP system implementation experience and a continuous improvement mindset preferred. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs); experience with Deltek preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to collaborate across departments, particularly with operations and sales, to make strategic decisions beyond just financial metrics. Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with overtime as needed.     The Director, Financial Systems ensures optimal utilization of Pape-Dawson business systems as it applies to project planning/management, resource management, accounting, marketing, human resources, and other service areas. This role is responsible for maintaining current business system environments, developing future solutions to align with evolving business requirements, and performing custom software development of Deltek products. Proficiency in change management, governance, communication, prioritization, and overseeing company-wide projects is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to translate technical details into practical concepts, and clarity in articulating design alternative and their business impacts. #LI-SE1 Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and optimize business systems including user management, security configuration, system updates, and data integrity oversight. Serve as a subject matter expert for Deltek products (i.e., Vantagepoint, Vision, Ajera) and other business systems. Maintain current custom software development of Deltek products and develop additional code as required. Collaborate with various service areas to document business requirements and understand objectives related to Deltek Vantagepoint and integrated systems. Offer recommendations and implement best practices for system configurations and business process improvements. Assist end-users in resolving problems promptly. Install Deltek upgrades, patches, and releases in Sandbox and Production on-premise environments. Conduct system process testing and quality assurance for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Support additional application implementations, key processes, integrations, and change management initiatives. Collaborate with developers, consultants, and other external resources to implement complex changes. Ensure thorough documentation and communication of platform changes to business users and stakeholders through established procedures and training. Conduct internal training on business systems and processes and develop corresponding materials. Adhere to project scope, budget, and time frame requirements. Maintain open communication with the project coordinator regarding project status and details. Stay informed about product roadmaps and enhancements, and actively propose opportunities to integrate new developments into our operating environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Deltek Vantagepoint System Administrator, Consultant, or Developer. Deep understanding of accounting principles and its application in Deltek products (i.e., Vantagepoint, Vision, Ajera). Deltek Vantagepoint Certification and Deltek Ajera Certification Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Experience in software development, writing SQL queries, and building stored procedures. Knowledge of EleVia products including Electronic Invoicing, Payables Approval & Tracking, and A/R Management & Collections. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and lead programs and projects to successful completion. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the A/E/C industry. Experience in Accounting and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint, Vision, and/or Ajera, Spreadsheet Server by InsightSoftware, and Hyperion.
