The suitable candidate should have some experience with mechanical, electrical assemblies, some soldering experience and should be familiar with basic test equipment. This position focuses on assembling electronic equipment such soldering wires onto switches and integrating the switches into metal housings as well as packaging the finished product. You will also be integrating circuit boards into enclosures, wiring them and final testing the equipment once completed the data must be entered into a data base so basic computer skills are required. Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Process customer invoices, apply payments, and maintain accurate aging reports Monitor outstanding balances and support collection efforts as needed Ensure timely and accurate posting of deposits and related entries Accounts Payable Review, code, and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks Generate check runs and schedule payments in accordance with company procedures Resolve vendor discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships Financial Operations & Reporting Assist with monthly financial close, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policy Prepare routine financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements General Support the Finance Team with special projects and cross-functional tasks Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and controls Required Skills & Qualifications: 1-4 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts with accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices Strong organization, time-management, and follow-through Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and thoroughness Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401K Group Life PTO About Parabit Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Bellmore, NY, Parabit Systems, Inc. is a leading designer, manufacturer, and integrator of technology-driven security and self-service solutions for financial institutions, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, and commercial clients.
