The Assistant Teacher Role

📜 Education/Experience and Other Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Music Therapist, including experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
Experience in ABA therapy settings or familiarity with autism-specific interventions is highly preferred.
Proficiency in playing musical instruments (e.g., guitar, piano, percussion) and using music therapeutically.
Familiarity with Arizona DDD guidelines, insurance authorizations, and billing is a plus.
Availability to work sessions in our Chandler clinic (Mon-Fri, 8 AM-7 PM) with flexibility for occasional in-home visits.
Warm, engaging personality and commitment to client-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care.
Maintain a Level 1 Fingerprint Card/Background Check.
