$1,500 Sign On Bonus! The Maintenance Tech 1 is responsible for ensuring the overall continuous operation of Paragon properties both from a production as well as a facilities perspective. The Maintenance Tech 1 will work with management to prioritize needs as well as identify opportunities for improvement within the organization while continually enhancing maintenance skills. This role must be knowledgeable in and follow all procedures needed to ensure the proper safe and efficient operations of the production environment. Position is performed under established guidelines and company policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Skillfully perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and physical structures, including the maintenance/replacement of simple motors and the ability to effectively remove and replace AC/DC drives.
* Works and/or effectively monitors the Programmable Logic Controller, Drive systems, and Robotics at the basic level and troubleshoots within the system.
* Works within the Computerized Maintenance System to record daily tasks including shift reports, work orders, etc. in a timely and accurate fashion.
* Performs basic welding tasks as related to a manufacturing environment.
* Utilizes blueprints to understand machinery and facilities maintenance requirements.
* Performs basic wiring tasks and advanced or complex wiring tasks with supervision.
* Accurately performs a general inspection to discern the root cause of basic equipment failures and or the need for maintenance equipment. Makes basic repairs within guidelines and authority limits, and follows established procedures for maintenance tasks and reporting duties.
* Follows and ensures that all safety requirements and procedures are always observed and met.
* Prioritizes maintenance jobs in order of importance or urgency to ensure production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. Works with manager to determine priorities and ensure knowledge of significant issues.
* Assist with maintaining the maintenance department; ensuring inventory is returned to proper locations and general housekeeping tasks are completed.
* Identifies opportunities for improved processes and procedures to assist with efficient management of maintenance tasks and services provided to all departments.
* Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of machines and facilities. Ongoing learning through seminars, training classes, etc. to ensure up-to-date knowledge related to job functions, equipment, electrical tasks, and other applicable tasks as related to the job duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
* Ability to read, interpret, and utilize blueprints.
* Basic welding skills.
* Basic to Intermediate wiring skills.
* knowledgeable and skilled in the use of hand tools and other maintenance-related tools and can identify proper tools for various jobs.
* Ability to demonstrate sound judgment while adapting to a fast-paced environment and rapid changes. Able to juggle multiple tasks and handle unexpected delays or events while maintaining constant attention to detail.
* Ability to be on-call and respond to maintenance calls and needs during off-shift hours.

Position Overview
As a part of our dedicated team, CDL Drivers will be operating a SiteOne vehicle to deliver world-class service and landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to our customers. CDL Drivers are also responsible for loading and unloading trucks in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully.

Job Summary

Job Summary:
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be trained on the proper techniques of cleaning production equipment, machines and work areas of our food manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, chemical concentrations, and handling and storing the chemicals. The sanitation team is expected to report any potential contamination issues and any safety concerns that may arise as part of the sanitation process.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform daily sanitation of all processing lines.
Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of the sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all.
Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
Maintain and clean water lines.
Coordinates all daily sanitation activities within the plant.

Responsibilities
Program and operate CNC 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines (OKK, Makino, Mikron) using Mastercam and SolidWorks to produce precision components.
Inspect and verify parts through visual checks and precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, calipers), ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
Maintain and adjust machines, tooling, and offsets as needed; troubleshoot issues, perform basic maintenance, and document production data accurately.
Support team operations through training, collaboration, program management assistance, and continuous improvement efforts related to quality, safety, and productivity.
Requirements
Proven experience in CNC machining within a manufacturing environment (plastic injection molding preferred), including blueprint reading and technical interpretation.

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Medical Microbiology Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a Medical Microbiology Technologist under the supervision of a principal investigator or laboratory manager. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting laboratory procedures and experiments for the phenotypic and genotypic characterization of MDRO, as well as performing microbial identification, antibiotic susceptibility, and more. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth and safe operation of the laboratory, ensuring quality specimens for testing, and reporting clinical data accurately. This position requires strong teamwork, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Microbiologist Technician: ($65k- $72K)
Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities Include:
Support the MRSN mission, collect MDROs and send them to the MRSN weekly, and respond to the inquiries from the MRSN leadership.
Participates in the development of research protocols and grant proposals and in the conduct of research related to MRSN activities.
Performs routine and specialized procedures, reviews, and approves clinical test results for use in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in accordance with established protocols for a laboratory performing high complexity procedures as defined by the standards of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988.
Perform microbiological examinations on a variety of specimens using morphological, cultural, and biochemical identification of microorganisms.
Able to process microbial identification/antibiotic susceptibility test on the most widely used automated systems: Microscan, Phoenix, Vitek 2XL, Bruker MALDI MS, or Vitek MS.
Have a basic knowledge and experience in the extraction of DNA from bacteria and in the construction of DNA sequencing libraries.
Performs Proficiency testing and in continuing education to maintain licensure and remain updated on changes in the clinical laboratory field.
Ensures that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is functioning properly.
Perform work that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, grasping and repetitive motion. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and overhead lifting.
Assist in laboratory quality assurance procedures, data gathering and problem solving.
Have a basic knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, including long and short-read sequencing platforms Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and reference ranges for test methods.
Works with the Physician to analyze results and conduct more difficult, non-routine tests.
Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates and forms, (including, but not limited to, statistical programming plan SOP and template).
Ensures quality specimens for laboratory testing.
Follows laboratory SOPs and specific written experimental protocols as well as oral instructions in performing assigned experimental work.
Maintains records of laboratory results, quality control data, and laboratory procedures.
Manages infectious specimens, hazardous chemicals, and potentially dangerous instruments in accordance with hospital and the departmental policies to maintain a safe working environment and observes and complies with appropriate safety and occupational health rules and regulations.
Performs occasional duties on weekends/holidays if such duties are approved by the COR and the contractor's program manager.
Assists in Inventory Control to assure adequate supplies (QC, reagents, calibrators and other consummables0 are available and reagents are stored properly (temperature sensitive). Supplies are dated appropriately when placed in use.
Attends relevant seminars, scientific conferences, and meetings related to the MRSN.
Complies with occupational health and safety standards and other applicable regulations and guidelines, which may include medical surveillance.
Assist with other bench work/within the microbiology department on-site as time allows, only after MRSN duties are complete
Medical Microbiology Technologist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Successful completion of a Medical Technologist program (BA or BS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (AAS) program to meet the College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation and certified as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA), or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Active Medical Technologist (MT) certification or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification.
Familiarity with Phoenix, Microscan, Sensititre, and Vitek2 automated systems
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking skills
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, grasping and repetitive motion.
Lifting up to 50 pounds
