We are currently seeking a highly motivated Paralegal - Creditors' Rights Litigation for our Columbia office. Responsibilities include: Scheduling Maintaining calendars Maintaining court dockets and rosters Data entry and maintenance of records Direct communication with clients Pleading Preparation Providing support to Paralegals and Attorneys as requested Other duties as assigned Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes: Two or more years' experience working in a law firm preferred. Ability to prioritize. Some knowledge of federal and state court hearing rules and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....) and other legal software applications. Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and computer skills. Must be flexible with the ability to handle a large caseload in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements. Stable employment history.
