This role involves legal research, document drafting, regulatory response preparation, and hands-on legal document management. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal writing skills, solid research experience, and the ability to handle sensitive legal matters with discretion and confidence. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain legal department calendars, deadlines, and document filing systems Draft and edit legal documents, including contracts, NDAs, and governance materials Conduct legal research including review of Secretary of State filings and corporate governance documents Assist with preparation of responses to legal and governmental inquiries, including subpoenas Convert and compare documents between PDF and Word formats; track and manage revisions Prepare and manage exhibits, bates stamping, and document production for legal proceedings Support the preparation of materials for board meetings and legal submissions Ensure accurate and confidential handling of sensitive information Provide administrative support for internal legal operations and investor documentation Review corporate governance and finance-related documents for accuracy and completeness Qualifications Required: Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience Paralegal certification Familiarity with corporate law or litigation law, regulatory filings, and legal research processes Strong technical skills in Microsoft Word; experience with Excel Exceptional legal writing and proofreading skills Ability to manage complex legal workflows and prioritize deadlines Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field Experience with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LEXIS) Writing samples demonstrating legal drafting skills Analytical, detail-focused, and efficient Curious and motivated by legal problem-solving Thrives in fast-paced environments with evolving legal priorities Strong track record of consistent and dependable performance Willing to learn and grow in the position JOB CODE: 1000017
