This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The Paralegal position will support corporate attorneys in the Company's headquarters. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with legal team members to support internal clients as needed. Provide support to process and assist in coordinating redlines to agreements, assist with the preparation of documents, certificates, amendments and other legal documents and correspond with business groups and Contracts team personnel to finalize and execute contracts. Assist with litigation discovery, including document production and related issues. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of closing binders. Maintain corporate records, including minute books, board resolutions, and organizational documents. Assist in managing and imputing data into the Law Department's Legal Tracker system, including assisting with managing law department databases and records. Perform various research functions as required. Help manage internal compliance efforts to align with state and federal laws. Assist with the preparation of Law Department budgets and monthly legal accruals. Assist in building and driving a culture of compliance and efficiency throughout the Company and to help assess current and anticipated emerging risk areas across the Company. Support members of the legal team with special projects and initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate law department, law firm or other similar environment, preferably with increasing responsibility over that time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases.
