Job Summary
The Paramedic must represent the RELIVE brand and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This role requires patient care and education regarding IV Vitamin therapy as well as hormone replacement therapy, as well as administering treatments to patients
Responsibilities
Administer IV Vitamin Therapy, and shots to patients.
Performed venipuncture, accessed implanted ports, maintained peripheral IV lines
Perform infusions and monitor patient's status throughout the entire infusion as well as manage emergency reactions.
Perform blood draws as per the required instructions provided by the lab.
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis and infection control techniques and universal precautions
Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participate in shared decision making
Accurately use the online booking systems
Provided documentation to the Admin team for submission to EHR
Prepare and track inventory to maintain 100% in stock of supplies and Vitamin therapy.
Completes other tasks within the scope of the Medic.
Qualifications
Paramedic Certification. Previous experience in IV Infusion is desirable. Certified in BLS and ACLS.
Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised.
Needs to be a patient listener, a good communicator, and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources
Client confidentiality and discretion are essential.
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In-Home Acute Clinical Care: Provide high-acuity care in the patient's home setting for conditions such as infections, heart failure, pneumonia, and post-surgical recovery-offering an alternative to inpatient hospitalization.
Clinical & Environmental Assessments: Conduct thorough physical exams and assess the home environment for safety and factors that may impact recovery or the plan of care. Identify and escalate any deviations that could compromise patient outcomes.
Care Coordination with Virtual Team: Serve as an on-site extension of the virtual care team. Maintain real-time communication with the remote command center nurse and
physician to report findings, collaborate on care decisions, receive treatment orders, and ensure all aspects of the care plan are executed safely and effectively.
Crisis & Rapid Response Support: Respond to crisis situations and rapid response alerts in the home environment, providing necessary interventions based on hospital orders and standing order protocols.
Patient & Caregiver Education: Deliver personalized education regarding disease management, medication regimens, treatment expectations, and when to seek help. Use both verbal coaching and written materials to reinforce understanding.
Documentation & Compliance: Document all assessments, interventions, communications, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system in real time. Ensure care is delivered according to program protocols and clinical standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Position Summary: Under general direction, performs technical work involving the prevention and suppression of fires, driving emergency units/engines, rescuing persons and highly skilled advanced life support and technical emergency medical services work in the field. As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.
Key Responsibilities:
Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions.
Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.

Valid NMC registration.

Essential Functions
The EMT Instructor Adjunct Instructor will:
* Assist class lead instructor as directed; this can include:
* Review student homework assignments prior to the start of every class.
* Follow the syllabus and training plans as laid out by the Training Coordinator and Coordinator Staff, and Medical Director.
* Maintain current the EMS Program LMS platform in conjunction with the Training Coordinator.
* Complete required CoAEMSP student evaluations each term.
* Ensure classroom and lab space is properly policed, and equipment is maintained, neat, clean, and in full working order.
* Ensure all EMS equipment is organized and placed back in stock prior to leaving each class.
* Teach for the entire duration of the class period, maximizing the instruction with the available class time.
* Follow all rules, regulations, policies, etc. , set forth by the Director and coordinator staff.
* Adhere to 64-J Bureau of EMS Florida Administration Codes.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Vocational/technical training in the field of Firefighter, Paramedic is required. An Associate's degree is preferred.
* 2-3 years of proven experience is required.
* Must have the ability to comprehend and deliver advanced life support curricula in the classroom, clinical, and lab environments.
* Participate in staff meetings and continuing education
training when deemed necessary.
* Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software,
Canvas and become familiar with JBL Learning and FISDAP student skill tracking software.
* Have working knowledge of advanced EMS equipment and
Training simulation mannequins and EMS training equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
