Job Description:
The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) role requires a passionate healthcare professional to provide first aid support and safety coaching to associates. You will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and Injury Prevention Specialist, ensuring the health and safety of all associates while managing workplace injury prevention, case management, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
· Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
· Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.
· Oversee the workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.
· Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
· Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.
· Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.
· Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.
· Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
· One of the following:
· EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.
· Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
· Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.
Preferred:
· Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures.

* You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
* You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
* You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
* You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
* You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.

Grid Automation and Control (GAC) Group of the Power Systems and Engineering Center (PSEC) at NREL is looking for an exceptional individual to support research in the advancing electromagnetic transient (EMT) modeling, and simulation of the power grid, while the power grid is transitioning to a modern grid with increasing growth of load and inverter-based resources(IBRs). The successful candidate will join a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative team of engineers, analysts, and software developers. GAC works to develop and apply state-of-the-art energy system modeling techniques, software, and simulations for breakthrough engineering and techno-economic analysis of the emerging future electric grid and broader interconnected energy system: transportation, buildings, gas, communication/controls, and beyond.

The successful candidate will be working on developing the cutting-edge EMT modeling, simulation and analysis technologies of the future modern power grid. The successful candidate is expected to bring in solid power system modeling expertise including power system networks, loads, and dynamic electrical components, like synchronous generators and inverter-based resources and develop the next-generation EMT simulator to address the challenges and resolutions of operating a future grid; and have a passion to explore the future modern power grids in terms of stability, reliability and resilience.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
Modeling of power systems in various EMT-domain simulation platforms such as PSCAD, RSCAD or ParaEMT.
Conduct EMT studies of the power system to address stability challenges for utility partners.
Development of next-generation EMT Simulator and acceleration technologies.
Maintain/enhance existing NREL simulation testbeds/platforms/tools for testing innovative research ideas.
Prepare the results in form of reports and presentations.
Write and publish results of analyses in peer-reviewed journals, transactions, conference proceedings, and/or technical reports.

You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:
$26.15 - $35.96
The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Job Summary
Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam
Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients
Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure
Draw blood and preparation labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing
Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions
Respond to all lab messages and call back requests
Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations
Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure
Conduct physician referrals as well as service pre-certifications on an as-needed basis
Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
Maintain complete and accurate documentation
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.
