As a LifeCare EMT, you deliver both emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation, working closely with a skilled team in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Schedule and Pay:
Pay: $42,000 - 55,000 a year
Multiple FLEXIABLE schedules for both Full Time and Part Time
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Responsibilities:
Respond to 911 calls and provide patient care in accordance with Ohio EMS protocols and regulations
Collaborate with ALS providers as needed for advanced patient care
Ensure readiness of equipment and ambulance before, during, and after shifts
Promote and maintain a safe and secure work environment; take immediate action when safety issues arise
Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and other departments
Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Actively participate in company meetings, events, and improvement initiatives
Assist with audits and documentation as needed
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Qualifications:
Current State of Ohio EMT Certification
High school diploma or GED
Valid Ohio driver's license in good standing
Ability to lift and carry up to 150 lbs. unassisted
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Work Environment:
Exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, and high-stress emergency situations
Operation of light and heavy medical and transportation equipment
Use of communication tools such as radios, computers, and tablets
Occasional work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and around mechanical equipment
