Conduct point-of-care testing (per protocol), medication reviews, wound care, and home safety assessments
Provide patient and family education related to chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, CHF, COPD, hypertension, fall prevention)
Assist with coordination of care, including appointments, follow-ups, and alternative transport arrangements
Observe, document, and report patient conditions, treatment responses, and significant changes to providers
Provide emergency medical care within EMT or CHW scope of practice and assist with non-emergent referrals
Serve as BLS backup on emergent and non-emergent 911 ambulance calls as requested
Utilize telehealth and technology platforms for physician consultation and longitudinal patient monitoring

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols in a 911 system running about 17,000 requests per year.
Utilize your Paramedic skills in a progressive medical system to the full scope of an OregonParamedic.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State Paramedic License
State Driver's License
BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS
Driving record in compliance with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
