Preflight Responsibilities: Obtains medical report from flight nurse, to include addressing diseases affected by altitude.     The Adjunct EMT Instructor educates, trains, and professionally develops students in the Emergency Medical Technician courses. Adjuncts are responsible for activities directly related to scheduled instruction. This can include lecture, labs, clinical, performance and coaching assignments, as well as student assessment and testing. The overall teaching goal of the Adjunct Instructor is to prepare the EMS student to serve at the entry point of the emergency services. Adjuncts are tasked with assisting the Lead instructor in the delivery of the course material in relief coverage. During lab hours, Adjunct Instructors are required to have the same minimum competency knowledge and skills as the Lead EMT Instructor pertaining to program policies, operation, LMS operation, and field knowledge.
