Occasionally climbing. When responding to emergencies, can be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, fire, smoke, adverse weather conditions and chemicals. There is potential for bodily harm from violent patients, bystanders or other dangers. Frequently hectic work with exposure to highly emotional situations.

The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment.
