Work with a multidisciplinary human performance team that includes other medical professionals to ensure the proper care and health monitoring of all students (i.e., physicians, sports medicine providers, athletic trainers, physical therapists, operational psychologists, strength coaches, etc.).
Coordinate with contracted or military medical director, government supervisor, preceptor and/or lead paramedic daily for proper medical oversight and direction in accordance with national and state EMT-P and paramedic guidelines.
Keep accurate records of all injuries, method of treatment, rehabilitation, and medical releases. During normal operations, provide relevant information to SW medical staff to support the students medical needs.
The work requires some physical exertion, such as walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces as well as time spent outdoors in extreme temperatures and variable weather conditions. Work can require prolonged standing indoors or outdoors, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. HCW is required to maintain strength, coordination, and stamina to manage and operate exercise and medical equipment.
Visits or extended duties in these locations or sites are necessary to observe performance/events, to survey, to conduct planning, etc. to ensure mission accomplishment. Some agility and strength may be required in executing medical coverage in these operational environments.
The Contractor will report all activities to appropriate Government oversight, which may be required as inputs into the Human Performance Utilization Tracker (HPUT) or similar database.
Work may require travel away from the normal duty station in order to support training requirements
Physical Requirements:

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor will provide classroom and field instruction to enhance the response in Emergency Medical Care and trauma situations for all military members. All services shall be provided in accordance with established certifications, standards, principles and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizations including the following: the Joint Commission standards, applicable Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Health Agency (DHA), National Association of Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT), military specific regulations, directives, and policies, and Medical Training Facility (MTF) specific policies and procedures.
The courses will be held 3 weeks a month, with a one-week break for manikin maintenance, supplies, environment review of the grounds and administrative duties.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor shall provide in classroom and field - education and training to prepare students to assess, advise, and react, effectively during emergency and/or trauma situations. Curriculum for EMT's and LVN, will be provided by the government.

Provide a nursing overview for competencies. The course is designed for all different Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) and having clinical personnel will buffer technicians with a para-professional person.
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor shall facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to training in trauma care, quality, and cost effectiveness. The required outcome result is to enable the Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic to react quickly and efficiently to real world emergency situations, when encountered with obstacles, by using the tools available in the performance measures. Instructor may assist in the development of the Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA).
The program coordinator shall advise and assist the instruction provided by other healthcare professionals.
Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.
Provide safe training environment - identify, track and report all safety hazards within the field training area.
Assist program coordinator on educational program administrative requirements, to include maintenances of program, course, student/participant records, and preparation and submission of data and reports at the end of each course. Monthly/annual reports will be completed by the program coordinator with the assistance of the instructors. These monthly reports/annual reports are associated with the number of students, number of courses, Air Force Specialty Code/Military Occupational Specialties of the students, equipment usage, test results (pre-test/post test scores); etc. The purpose of these reports are to measure instructors' metrics and validate the programs' efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor shall provide quality standardized instruction in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the Joint Trauma System/Civilian agencies and MTFs. Shift: Part Time Mixed
What you will do in this Role:
1. Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets. These skills are to be performed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains quality control measures of the 3D Lab, CT/MRI department insuring good documentation and follow-through on issues.
2. Demonstrates knowledge in all areas of CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 3D post-processing, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors associated with the CT, MRI and post processing systems.
3. Communicates well with others, is able to prioritize tasks, and acts as a mentor to staff as needed while providing quality in-services and instructions.
4. Ensures proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment. Coordinates with vendors for repairs, scheduled maintenance. Maintains inventory and equipment service records.
5. Assists in establishing QC/QA protocols as required by JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH and other agencies when applicable.

Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this Role:
1. Demonstrates competency in all areas of computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT Systems. Will display knowledge in the use of all other equipment used in CT Scan such as: power injectors, stereotactic biopsy equipment, biopsy and drainage needles and devices, and any other devices/equipment used in CT.
2. Responsible for the proper use of the Radiology Imaging System, Meditech (scheduling exams, patient tracking, Image tracking, proper completion of exams, capture charges).
3. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
4. Will follow safety policies and procedures applicable to the job, recognizes impending crisis situations and institutes measures (such as adjusting priorities) to prevent further complications and makes a report to their supervisor.
5. Maintains cleanliness and inventory of the CT rooms to include equipment and facilities. Will follow proper disinfection techniques, restocks supplies as necessary, carts or work area will be cleaned and stocked at the completion of each shift.
6. Must be able to complete assignments independently and to work as part of a team; to take instructions from supervisors or team lead, to exercise problem-solving skills; and to interact with co-workers, supervisors, patients, vendors and the public in a professional and pleasant manner

* Respond, stabilize, and activate EMS in response to physical trauma, heat stroke, near drowning episodes or other emergencies, per local protocol.
* Summarize the nature of injury and emergency care rendered to the receiving EMS responders.
* Inventory, replace, and clean all supplies and equipment after use. Assist with maintenance of supplies, clinical spaces, and medical response vehicles.
* Work with a multidisciplinary human performance team that includes other medical professionals to ensure the proper care and health monitoring of all students (i.e., physicians, sports medicine providers, athletic trainers, physical therapists, operational psychologists, strength coaches, etc.).
* Coordinate with contracted or military medical director, government supervisor, preceptor and/or lead paramedic daily for proper medical oversight and direction in accordance with national and state EMT-P and paramedic guidelines.
* Keep accurate records of all injuries, method of treatment, rehabilitation, and medical releases. During normal operations, provide relevant information to SW medical staff to support the students medical needs.
* The work requires some physical exertion, such as walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces as well as time spent outdoors in extreme temperatures and variable weather conditions. Work can require prolonged standing indoors or outdoors, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. HCW is required to maintain strength, coordination, and stamina to manage and operate exercise and medical equipment.
* Visits or extended duties in these locations or sites are necessary to observe performance/events, to survey, to conduct planning, etc. to ensure mission accomplishment. Some agility and strength may be required in executing medical coverage in these operational environments.
* The Contractor will report all activities to appropriate Government oversight, which may be required as inputs into the Human Performance Utilization Tracker (HPUT) or similar database.
* Work may require travel away from the normal duty station in order to support training requirements
Physical Requirements:

Starting pay begins at $14/hr and is based on your DSHS certification level and years of experience. Your starting pay may be higher based on these factors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Responsibilities include, but not limited to)
* Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day, drives a variety of emergency vehicles in all road conditions including inclement weather, dense traffic and rural off-road settings.
* Reads map books and follows written and verbal directions in order to respond in an efficient and safe manner.
* Follows all departmental, local and state driving laws, policies and procedures.
* Uses a variety of communication equipment and appropriately communicates verbally to dispatchers, EMS crews, first responders and other organizations according to departmental policies and procedures.
* Maintains vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness.
* Completes daily vehicle and supply checklists and assists with vehicle re-supply, vehicle and equipment decontamination and general readiness-related tasks.
* Immediately reports, in writing, any discrepancies with vehicles, supplies or equipment and their state of readiness.
* Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
* Demonstrates clinical competency in all patient care related instances.
* Demonstrates physical competencies sufficient to allow him/her to lift, carry, transport and extricate patients in all settings, in some cases without assistance.
* Interacts with multiple outside agencies such as Police Departments, Fire Departments and First Responder Organizations. Provides satisfactory customer service and projects professionalism in all contacts.
* Successfully and accurately completes patient care reports, billing information and all other associated documentation in a timely manner.

What you will do in this Role:
1. Performs post-processing on CT/MRI data sets. These skills are to be performed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains quality control measures of the 3D Lab, CT/MRI department insuring good documentation and follow-through on issues.
2. Demonstrates knowledge in all areas of CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 3D post-processing, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors associated with the CT, MRI and post processing systems.
3. Communicates well with others, is able to prioritize tasks, and acts as a mentor to staff as needed while providing quality in-services and instructions.
4. Ensures proper working condition of all CT/MRI post-processing equipment. Coordinates with vendors for repairs, scheduled maintenance. Maintains inventory and equipment service records.
5. Assists in establishing QC/QA protocols as required by JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, TDH and other agencies when applicable.
6. Responsible for the proper use of the RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams and to assist the department manager in-patient charging accuracy.

1. Demonstrates competency in all areas of computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT Systems. Will display knowledge in the use of all other equipment used in CT Scan such as: power injectors, stereotactic biopsy equipment, biopsy and drainage needles and devices, and any other devices/equipment used in CT.
2. Responsible for the proper use of the Radiology Imaging System, Meditech (scheduling exams, patient tracking, Image tracking, proper completion of exams, capture charges).

SUMMARY: Allegiance Mobile Health is looking for a compassionate and reliable EMT-Basic to provide essential pre-hospital care and emergency medical assistance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Responsibilities include, but not limited to)
* Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day, drives a variety of emergency vehicles in all road conditions including inclement weather, dense traffic and rural off-road settings.
* Reads map books and follows written and verbal directions in order to respond in an efficient and safe manner.
* Follows all departmental, local and state driving laws, policies and procedures.
* Uses a variety of communication equipment and appropriately communicates verbally to dispatchers, EMS crews, first responders and other organizations according to departmental policies and procedures.
* Maintains vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness.

* Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
* Demonstrates clinical competency in all patient care related instances.
* Demonstrates physical competencies sufficient to allow him/her to lift, carry, transport and extricate patients in all settings, in some cases without assistance.
* Interacts with multiple outside agencies such as Police Departments, Fire Departments and First Responder Organizations. Provides satisfactory customer service and projects professionalism in all contacts.
