GENERAL PURPOSE\:
The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. The Retail Associate is expected to be engaged in these tasks as assigned during all working hours, and will be expected to perform a range of functions in all areas of the Store as business needs require. The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations, if performance of these tasks will help achieve our Customer service and operational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Maintains clutter free, clear egress to emergency exits. Immediately corrects or reports any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; is friendly and professional at all times. Recognizes fellow Associates using Company recognition programs.
Assists Customers in any way necessary - is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner. Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiling and saying “hello” throughout the Store as well as saying “thank you” with every register transaction.
Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times. Responds to Customer Service calls immediately. Handles all Customer issues in a courteous and helpful way, calling a member of the Store Leadership when needed.
Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
Maintains a professional appearance, and adheres to the Company dress code at all times.
Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery per company best practice to ensure a neat, clean and organized store that is well-maintained and efficiently merchandised to standards.
Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency, merchandising all items per company best practice to the monthly presentation guidelines and maintaining merchandise/brand name familiarity within departments to assist Customers.
Understands the Loss Prevention Awareness program, the Shortage Highway, the Store Protection Specialist (SPS) position (where applicable), and merchandise protection standards.
As a representative of Ross Inc., demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions with Associates and Customers. Safeguards confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise.
Follows all Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies, including the identification of MOS merchandise, proper processing of each piece and the notification of Store Leadership to review and approve all disposals.
Follows all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card and refund transactions, voids and offline procedures. Maintains a high level of awareness and accuracy when handling bankable tenders.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency to efficiently perform their role. Maximizes productivity by executing all Store best practices and minimizing steps and touches in their work flow.

As a Specialist, Carrier Procurement in Brokerage at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight
Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process
Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns or other issues as necessary
Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times; use discretion and insight when considering all factors affecting timeframe, including weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.
Follow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to ensure the integrity of the shipment and the RXO brand

Of course, there are inventory duties, organizing, processing and the obvious job of pick/pack/ship exciting products for our amazing clients! The right candidate will have a strong attention to detail as you will also be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a go getter! Take initiative to process, pack, and ship orders accurately and timely.
Employees will need to be good with written directions and utilizing RF guns which will be directing you.
Compete against yourself and others! Symbia sets reasonable performance standards allowing you to compete against your previous best, as well as your teammates.
We want team members who are going to lead by example in an ethical manner, doing the right thing even when no one is looking!
Some of our clients offer amazing products require exciting packaging, so kitting and/or combining SKU's may be involved.
Maintain inventory of products and help to restock or replenish.
Inspect products for damages and report findings to your supervisor.
Cleanliness is important, so we need you to help maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products.
Be the last line of defense before orders reach our clients by preparing products for shipping and ensuring accuracy against packing slips.
We want you to go home in the same condition you come to work in, so we need you to follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Personality: a dynamic, growth minded employee who is most comfortable being themselves!
High school diploma is preferred, but a GED and prior experience is ok too!
Work experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, so we prefer 1-2 years of prior experience.
Strong working knowledge and prior experience with warehouse data systems.
Excellent communication and inventory skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs.
Specific vision abilities may be required for this role. These abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, as well as good depth perception.
Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Expectation is at least two hours straight, four times in an eight-hour day.
You will need to be able to twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
Repetitive movements are a big part of our environment, so you will need to be able to use your hands and feet simultaneously.
This is a warehouse environment, so it consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
If you are operating Industrial Lift Equipment, you will need to be able to get on and off the equipment on a regular basis. Certain equipment may expose you to heights as well.
There can be exposure to loud noises and dust.
You will have regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving equipment.

As a Specialist, Carrier Procurement in Brokerage at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight
Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process
Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns or other issues as necessary
Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times; use discretion and insight when considering all factors affecting timeframe, including weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.
Follow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to ensure the integrity of the shipment and the RXO brand
Accurately maintain and update information in the company's operating systems
Conduct research in available databases for potential leads; make cold calls to prospects
Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure that carrier charges are accurate
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
1 year of procurement experience
It'd be great if you also have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
1 year of transportation experience
2 years of sales or customer service experience
The ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits

Job Summary
Picks merchandise loads or stacks products on carts and/or pallets and engages in packing and wrapping products and materials to protect them from damage during shipment.

Primary Job Duties
Reads customer orders to determine items to be gathered
Accurately and efficiently assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or carts
Accurately records the number of items picked and reports any discrepancies to their immediate supervisor
Inspects products prior to packing and wrapping and places rejected products aside.
Efficiently packs products for shipping
Accurately scans products being packed and notifies supervisor of any discrepancies
Checks all orders to ensure accuracy.
Loads boxed product on pallets and wraps for shipping ensuring proper shipping information is on the pallets
Operates company machinery as applicable to department and according to all operating and safety instructions
Keeps assigned working area in a clean and orderly condition
Constructs boxes according to required dimensions and order needs
Ensures a steady supply of boxes is available for packers and the shipping team
Loads and secures load bars for outbound shipments
Provides assistance to the shipping department as needed, including staging and loading pallets
Other duties may be assigned

Physical Demands/Environment:
Regularly required to stand in one place; walk; use hands and arms, to handle, or reach; talk/communicate; ability to hear and see; ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to stoop, kneel or crouch; use color vision; work near moving mechanical parts or objects.
