RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: * Developing new business in linear/streaming platforms and non-traditional revenue sales. * Securing contract renewals with increased market share through cross-selling/up selling additional platforms and solutions. * Develop and execute strategies for selling premium high-profile properties such as NFL, Big Ten College Football, PGA Golf, WNBA, NCAA Men's and Women's College Basketball, UFC, UEFA Soccer, NWSL Women's Professional Soccer. * Experience selling high profile network prime specials such as The Grammy Awards, VH1/MTV Video Music Awards, People's Choice Awards, Tony Awards, CMT Awards, Daytime Emmys, and the Kennedy Center Honors. * Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. * Create, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with clients. * Increase shares of existing agency business by leveraging Paramount's multi-platform assets. * Explore innovative and non-traditional avenues to generate revenue. * Identify and cultivate new business accounts. New Business is expected at a high level. * Create customized, client-focused solutions that demonstrate the value of Paramount. * Promote and sell Paramount's streaming TV solutions and understand how they complement broadcast TV. CORE COMPETENCIES: + A sound engineering foundation and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex television broadcast systems. + Strong technical background in video transmission and transmitters, newsroom systems, ingest, wireless and cellular bonded technologies, automation systems, microwave, master control, satellite, streaming, control room, IT, studio and field operations and IP technology. + Expertise and background in RF transmission and technology. + Candidate must be a self-starter and highly organized. + Strong project execution and coordination skills. + Remarkable ability to collaborate and interact with colleagues in a dynamic work environment, including engineering staff, station employees, management, and external vendors. + Ability to train fellow engineers in new systems, technologies, procedures and techniques. + Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime or varying shifts when necessary to meet station needs, sometimes with little notice. Analyzes current training programs and adjusts as needed. * Implements new CSM and brand training initiatives in a timely manner. * Utilizes training resources effectively and ensures all training requirements are met. * Responsible for effectively interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing hotel associates. * Prepares and conducts annual employee reviews in a timely manner. * Addresses performance issues accordingly and takes appropriate corrective action to hold employees accountable. * Motivates hotel staff by setting goals, providing ongoing feedback and rewarding/recognizing employees. * Effectively addresses areas for improvement determined by CSM's annual Associate Opinion Survey and communicates results from the survey to the hotel staff in a timely manner. * Promotes fair treatment and open door policies with all associates. * Responsible for effective self/workload management and adjusting personal work schedule as dictated by business needs. * Demonstrates clear and effective written and verbal skills. * Promotes a productive, professional and collaborative work environment. * Provides clear direction to the hotel team. * Plays an active role in leading daily team meetings and weekly/monthly departmental/hotel meetings to ensure proper communication and planning occurs. * Leads and participates in monthly Safety Committee Meetings. * Assists in conducting routine inspections of the hotel operation/building to maintain standards of CSM, brand, local, state and federal regulations. * Ensures a clean and safe work environment. * Understands the importance of handling all guest and employee accidents/incidents in a timely and effective manner while following CSM policy. * Completes CSM incident reports and follows up within appropriate time frame. * Assists in promoting corporate safety programs and initiatives. * Ensures OSHA/SDS Management and Compliance. Rate: $70,000 - $73,000 per year Education: High school diploma or GED required. College degree or equivalent experience required. Competencies/Skills Preferred: Prefer multi department knowledge/experience. Should possess strong leadership skills. Outstanding organizational skills, the ability to quickly identify priorities and flexibility in assuming additional responsibilities and goals according to the needs of the hotel are essential to the position.
