Primary Responsibilities:
Paramount Tech is hiring a Broadcast Distribution Manager to work in Satellite Management Center. The SMC's key responsibilities are to support the Network Distribution of the CBS Network to our Stations, Affiliates and Partners as well as schedule and procure Live Event facilities for our Clients (News, Sports, Entertainment, and Paramount Global).
This position will direct and supervise the scheduling and procurement of transmission facilities to service internal CBS clients and external customers. This includes booking facilities for CBS Live Events and Remotes (satellite space, fiber, uplink trucks, etc.)
* The Broadcast Distribution Manager is responsible for the CBS TV Stations receive equipment and provides real time computer control and Level 1 technical support for 209 CBS Affiliates. Additional support is also provided to Paramount+.
* This position works in a 24x7 Network Operations Center which monitors and maintains the Satellite, Fiber and terrestrial distribution for the CBS Network and Paramount+.
Basic Qualifications
* 5 years' experience with knowledge in the communications industry is required.
* This should include a comprehensive understanding of video compression formats and technology.
* The qualified candidate must have a general understanding of RF transmission, encoding and decoding.
* Strong baseline knowledge of Networking, IP streaming and Data delivery.
* Candidate must have strong organization skills, be detailed oriented and able to multitask.
Additional Qualifications
* Prior experience as a Technical Support, Master Control Operator or Earth Station Technician is a plus.

**OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Manager is responsible for the facilities operations and services for the Broadcast Center and offices at 555 West 57th Street. Manage the overall maintenance, support, safety, and upkeep of the CBS Broadcast Center in conjunction with the director of facility services and the facility maintenance teams. Provide supervision and guidance to the electrical, engineering, and facility services employees to assist in routine preventative maintenance, EH&S policies, ESG goals, and implementation of capital programs.

- Create and implement preventative maintenance programs for all MEP systems in coordination with operating engineers, maintenance electricians, and FSDs
- Supervisor for Local 30 Operating Engineer and Local 3 Maintenance Electrician Staff

- Ensure adherence to Global Workplace standards at each site
- Oversee and manage capital programs related to facility upgrades

The Traffic Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day execution of commercial scheduling and log management for multiple syndicated television programs. This role ensures accuracy, timely delivery, and clear communication between agencies, tape houses, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage commercial traffic for at least five syndicated programs, ensuring logs are completed and finalized daily.
+ Support the Diginet Movie Sphere Gold workflow as needed.
+ Finalize daily broadcast logs in accordance with tape house integration schedules, adjusting for holiday schedule variations.
+ Gather, save, and organize incoming traffic instructions for all assigned programs.
+ Schedule commercial spots for CTDs syndicated programming with precision and speed.
+ Ensure all commercials for assigned shows are received by the tape house on time.
+ Serve as the primary liaison between agencies, tape houses, and production companies.
+ Make daily decisions regarding commercial placement to optimize schedule flow.
+ Partner closely with agency traffic teams and media sales to resolve questions or conflicts.
+ Proofread and verify program traffic details, including:
+ Air date/day & time
+ Advertiser
+ Spot length
+ ISCI codes
+ Troubleshoot and resolve creative issues, commercial discrepancies, and missing materials.
+ Maintain high accuracy while multitasking and working under tight deadlines.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree in Media, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in commercial traffic or a related media operations role.
+ Prior experience with syndication traffic strongly preferred; cable or radio traffic experience also acceptable.
+ Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and log review.
+ Familiarity with content rights, licensing, or media distribution (coursework or internship experience acceptable).
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with databases or CRM tools.
