The RAND School of Public Policy provides the next generation of policy leaders and strategists with an unparalleled education in policy analysis. Our unique advantage lies in being the only graduate school integrated within a renowned independent policy research organization, with campuses in Santa Monica, CA, and the Washington, DC, area. The RAND School of Public Policy offers four graduate programs:

• Master of National Security Policy (MNSP): The MNSP equips students with the knowledge and skills to grow or launch careers as national and foreign policy leaders and practitioners.

• Master of Technology Policy (MTP): The MTP allows students to explore the opportunities and policy implications of new and emerging technologies across fields like health care, information science, education, and defense.

• Master of Philosophy in Policy Analysis (M.Phil.): The MPhil emphasizes quantitative or qualitative methods and interdisciplinary strategies and provides real-world research experience as students collaborate with RAND teams. The program can also serve as a pathway to the Ph.D.

• Frederick S. Pardee Ph.D. in Policy Analysis: Our flagship doctoral program offers a comprehensive, rigorous, and intensive education that prepares students to think critically and creatively about complex policy issues. Students collaborate with RAND research teams, gaining hands-on experience in addressing current policy challenges and contributing to research for real-world clients.
