Location: Plant 37 is located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry. There are approximately 95 employees at the Hanover location. The Hanover Plant is located on Route 194 in York County and is in close proximity to York, PA, Gettysburg, PA and the Maryland border. Position overview: The Production Line Maintainer, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, will be responsible for maintaining a production line or designated area of the production line (depending on assigned work area), performing quality checks and making mechanical adjustments to the line based on the quality readings. This position is scheduled on a rotating 4 days/ on 4 days off. Hours for this position are 5am-5pm. The hourly rate of pay is $29.83. Duties And Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Production Line Maintainer's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following: Safety first attitude to work effectively in a team environment Responsible for the mechanical performance of automated production machines and equipment that performs one or more functions in the making of high-quality steel cans Make necessary adjustments, repair, and/or changes to equipment and machines Direct and assist in set up equipment and changeovers Daily use of micrometer, dial indicators, and other precision measuring equipment to make educated decisions in the operation of machines and equipment in area of responsibility Use SPC and Process control to maintain production of quality products at all times Relieve slitter for breaks (3 piece) Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
