Our Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings is seeking to add a Superintendent team in Rio, WI covering the Western portion of WI (Janesville - Dubuque - Lacrosse). This role will work an aggressive schedule putting in 10-12 hour days in the “ON” season - April-October - traveling to sites across SE WI, and work a limited schedule < 8 hours days in the “OFF” season - November-March. Travel for this role is expected during the ON season, but is mostly day travel and has the incumbent “home” 95% of the time with a slight occasion to take a hotel stay versus a long drive home. This is a full-time role that pays in the $105K-$125K range with a 10-15% discretionary bonus program AND includes a company vehicle. This role also offers strong benefit package - Health, Dental and Vision covered at 80% - and a 401K plan that sees a 20% reinvestment in the employee.
The key to this role is recent and relevant experience in the road construction arena managing teams and projects in general construction of pavement marking. The incumbent will:
Play a critical role in construction practices and projects relating to pavement marking operations.
Manage a team and provides leadership to field teammates.
Lead crews in job and project management in the shop and on worksites.
Schedule crews and projects daily.
Communicate with contractors and other Century teammates as necessary.
Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Be Mindful of budgets in the field and in the shop.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years experience in the general construction field
5+ years experience in road construction or pavement marking industry
5+ years experience in a management role
Superior understanding of blueprints (read and comprehend).
Knowledge of scheduling work teams and material.
Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of tools to include Excel, Word, Outlook
Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds during workday and then up to 100 pounds in the shop, due to maintenance.
High school diploma or GED.

Under the guidance and supervision of the spray booth lead, the successful candidate will work with product engineers, engineers, R&D staff, and other production personnel. As a part of the Flame team, you will be required to work with heavy equipment, machinery, and parts while meeting high quality standards and production rates. Working in Flame can be gritty and dusty, however we pride ourselves on strict 5S procedures to maintain a clean working environment and 100% safety at all times to ensure an incident free production rate.
You can expect to:
Assist in the operation of thermal spray systems and other components to process customer product (generally parts for the agricultural industry) in a safe and efficient manner
Produce high quality products without rework, meeting production and customer schedules
Work in cell team environment with two booths among a team of 2-4 colleagues
Conduct all operations required for completion of the jobs (Grit Blast, masking, etc.) and suggest improvements to run the booths more efficiently
Team member will rotate with the other team members; rotations include spraying parts, pre-grit blasting, post-blasting over spray and smoke, cutting and polishing, and using a computer program to measure roughness of the parts to ensure quality standards are met
Team member must be able to work in a warm and dusty area to set up production, spray parts on either booth (parts can be 20-50 pounds), hang parts on racks, etc.
Must be able to work on your feet for 10 hours, lift at least 50 pounds throughout the entire shift, and wear a respirator while performing various procedures
Able to do math, read parameter sheets, perform basic computer skills to use 3D programming, and solve and troubleshoot problems quickly to keep production moving forward to make rates
Use 3D profiler room, programming to check for quality, laser measures the quality of the parts
Execute tasks and responsibilities as required by the Quality System and ISO 9000 requirements

EK is looking for a full-time welder ready to work hard and build their welding experience with our team. We're in need of a new welding team member that can weld on a wide variety of metals and alloys, navigate blueprints and directions successfully, and who is ready to take their skills to the next level.

What you'll be responsible for:
Successfully reading and understanding American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols to meet or exceed client expectations
Using GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet
Performing welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Hand layouts of weldments with little to no supervision or assistance
Using fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications
Assisting with creating work instructions
Completing first piece, in process, and final inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures
Pressure testing fuel tanks and hydro testing glycol tanks
Traveling between plants and adapting to the product mix requirements at each facility
Analyzing weld processes and recommending process improvements

Education & Experience - You have a high school diploma or GED, plus 1 to 3 years of GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW experience, preferably in a job shop, ability to read and interpret American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols, and pressure or hydro test tanks; or equivalent combination of education and experience. You must qualify within 90 days of hire in the weld processes you will be performing. Qualification per WWI-102.
