Position Summary:

Responsible for managing Hospitals' confidential information such as employee information, performance management, legal and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities:
* CALLS - Accept and screen telephone calls for supervisor and department staff or route calls appropriately
* CONTACTS - Engage in a variety of contacts outside the department and the Hospitals in order to obtain information and arrange meetings
* CUSTOMER RELATIONS - Establish and maintain good rapport and effective working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians and Hospitals employees

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 304 students per class. Job Summary
The AdministrativeAssistant serves as the primary administrative support to the CTO department. This individual performs secretarial, administrative, and special project duties to support the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO) leadership and staff. This position is responsible for a wide variety of activities and is tasked with making independent decisions according to established precedents.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily Operation Management
Performs various tasks in administrative and office support activities at the direction of the Administrator and CTO leadership.
Develops and maintains effective internal communication processes to support the activities of the CTO.
Establishes office procedures and assists in the development of related policies and practices.
Screens, assesses, and prioritizes correspondence, inquiries, and projects.
Answers routine correspondence.
Scheduling
Manages appointment scheduling system for CTO Leadership and other office staff as applicable.
Schedules and prepares meeting materials.
Composes and edits documents such as newsletters and other communications.
Participates as an office representative at meetings, relays relevant information, and provides follow up such as development and dissemination of meeting minutes.
Maintaining the Department
Acts as a gatekeeper, directing people appropriately, deciding upon priority of requests/situations, and escalating as needed to leadership.
Develop and maintain filing system for the CTO department or designated section of department.
Effectively demonstrates skills related to operating office equipment and maintaining equipment and
supplies.
Takes ownership of issues and concerns communicated to the office and provides follow-up to bring issues to conclusion.

Job Summary
The AIM Pathway Program AdministrativeAssistant will provide comprehensive administrative support for the Assurance in Medicine (AIM) Pathway at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG). This role is vital to the smooth operation and growth of the program, serving as the central point of coordination for students, faculty, and partners. The AdministrativeAssistant will be responsible for managing communications, coordinating program logistics, supporting data maintenance, and collaborating across multiple departments and institutions.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Student Communication
Serve as the primary administrative liaison for AIM students and prospective, maintaining regular and responsive communication regarding program requirements, activities, and updates.
Scheduling and Logistics
Coordinate all longitudinal and summer activities, including academic sessions, clinical experiences, virtual sessions, and special events. Manage calendars, room bookings, securing participant activities plus meals and necessary materials. Coordinate logistics of virtual interviews for AIM prospective students and faculty (multiple mini-interview style).
Clinical Activity Coordination
Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to organize shadowing, mentorship, and other clinical experiences for AIM students.
Recruitment and Outreach
Assist in the creation and distribution of recruitment materials for prospective AIM students.
Manage the application process, including tracking submissions, coordinating review timelines, and maintaining applicant records.
Support outreach efforts in collaboration with pre-health advisors, MCG faculty, and external partners
Faculty and Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with AIM program faculty, MCG faculty, pre-health advisors, and affiliated physicians to align administrative efforts with academic goals. Collaborate with the MCG Office of Admissions and other MCG Pathway Programs.
Data and Budget Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records, including student data, participation metrics, evaluation materials and budget.
Support Program Development
Assist with the implementation of program initiatives and provide administrative input on process improvement. Collaborate with the AIM Director and Senior Associate Dean for Admissions regarding all program content and assist with generation of new ideas and program initiatives.

Job Summary
This position provides administrative support to the division of Rheumatology faculty, Business Manager and fellows. This position serves as the fellowship coordinator for Rheumatology and grant coordinator for Rheumatology Research. This position provides support to physicians and fellows with publications and web page management.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE: Division Chief support & Rheum Faculty Support: calendar management; assist and prepare correspondence, evaluations, and assist with recruitment; responsible for answering phones, PowerPoint, assisting and directing visitors. Prepare and submit curriculum inventory, observership paperwork, and coordinating rotation of residents and students. Responsible for travel coordination, clinic cancelation paperwork (AU and GCC), as well as responsible for answering phones and providing customer service. Responsible for call schedule and Qgenda Management. 7 faculty and 5 fellows. Assist with OPPE management for Rheum Faculty as well as Faculty Evaluations (PACT system).
GRANT COORDINATOR: Grant coordinator for Rheumatology Research. Responsible for working with Business Manager and Rheum faculty for grant submission (Pre-Award). Monitor grant funding with oversight from Business Manager. Rheum Research Foundation, NIH, DOD grants. (R01, R21, &KO8 submissions).
POST AWARD: Work with business manager to monitor grant funding and subcontracts. Arrange CLUB meetings with multiple subcontracts. Arrange CLUB travel for ASBMR, NIH & TBN). Coordinate CLUB Activities. Assist with Dept of Defense grant- arrange meetings with CTO office & PI as well as data analyst.
FELLOWSHIP COORDINATOR: Creates and maintains schedule for incoming Nephrology applicant interviews. Pre-screens Rheum applicants via ERAS software for possible interview eligibility. Responsible for all stages of interview invitations and scheduling. Coordinates with Program Director to create Match List for submission. Receives and responds to email, phone and other inquiries for fellowship. Interacts with individuals eligible for post- match recruitment. Manages onboarding process for new Rheum fellows. One45/New Innovations- manages all aspects of evaluation process for Rheum fellows and maintenance of duty hours records for both WellStar & VA. Manages all fellow record needs for ACGME reaccreditation. Responds to requests for fellow verification from hospitals, licensing boards, etc. Plans events, graduation - manages conference schedule for faculty speakers.
PUBLICATIONS: Assist faculty and fellows with publications (12 15 per year). Responsible for EndNote Applications.

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 304 students per class. The MCG educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, with regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state, and two four-year campuses located in Athens (in partnership with the University of Georgia) and in Savannah (in partnership with Georgia Southern University). MCG's expanding partnerships with physicians and hospitals across Georgia currently provide more than 350 sites where students can experience the full spectrum of medicine, from complex care hospitals to small-town solo practices. MCG and its teaching hospitals also provide postgraduate education to approximately 575 residents and fellows in 50 different Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved programs. Our researchers and clinicians focus on what most impacts the health of Georgia's and America's children and adults, including cardiovascular biology and disease, cancer, neurosciences and behavioral sciences, public and preventive health, regenerative and reparative medicine, personalized medicine and genomics. Job Summary
Position is sole support for Chair of Department of Pediatrics who also serves as Pediatrician-In-Chief of the WellStar Children's Hospital of Georgia. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Chair and the department which is of a complex nature. Individual will also be responsible for coordinating ongoing local, state and national conferences.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to Department Chair and Department of Pediatrics leadership on a daily basis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining calendar, arranging/coordinating meetings, taking minutes, answering phone, triaging calls, composing/typing correspondence, greeting visitors, etc.
Maintain Office Supplies
Order and maintain office supplies for department administrative offices. Adhere to all purchasing card guidelines and submit monthly reports of all transactions. Reconcile office supply budget on a monthly basis.
Coordinate Faculty Promotion and Tenure Process
Coordinate all aspects of faculty promotion and tenure process. Notify faculty of eligibility and work closely with P&T Committee to prepare appropriate documents for submission.
Assist Department Admin Staff as Needed
Assist department administration with various tasks which include but are not limited to: maintaining faculty and division files, reconciling and maintaining equipment inventory, completing IT/telecommunication work orders, collecting, logging and processing various financial forms, creating and distributing weekly schedule for department meetings/conferences, distributing monthly reports and data to divisions, reconciling various financial reports, completing facilities requests and following to completion.
Coordinate Faculty Interview Process
Coordinate and oversee faculty candidate interview process. Work with division contacts to create itineraries/agendas, make travel arrangements, arrange meetings, etc. for prospective faculty.
Coordinate Events
Coordinate/oversee coordination of conference/meetings/ events for department to include annual departmental retreat, visiting professor lectureships, consultant visits, Grand Rounds, etc. Assist with arranging speakers, ordering meals, tracking participation (e.g., CME), etc
Assist Chair in Publishing
Assist Chair in publishing and/or editing textbooks, manuscripts, journal articles and in preparing presentations. Requires extensive attention to detail to insure accuracy.
Coordinate Travel
Coordinate travel arrangements for Chair which includes but is not limited to: booking hotel reservations, processing registration, preparing travel requests and travel expense statements, arranging flights, etc.
Coordinate Form Completion
Coordinate completion of forms/documents required of Department of Pediatrics faculty members and staff to include: OA1s/OA2s, travel forms, publications, clinic cancellations, Medical Administrative Service logs, property loan agreements, etc.
Faculty Annual Evaluations
Facilitate annual faculty evaluation process.
Coordinate OPPE Process
Coordinate and oversee the OPPE process. Work with the division contacts to track metrics and complete forms twice a year.
Develop Office Procedures
Develop, evaluate and implement office procedures.
Other
All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.
OR
High School Diploma/GED from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and seven years progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.

Job Summary
This position serves as the primary contact and coordinator for the office of the Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy. The duties include assisting the department chair, reconciling, monitoring, and reporting the department budget; serving as a point of contact with the Dean's Office regarding budget questions, coordinate purchasing, including holding a Pcard and managing Pcard transactions, assist with maintaining student records and entering department schedules into Banner; coordinate and manage department activities including faculty travel, communicate with and assist in advising students; manage front office, coordinate events planning, and supervise student assistant.

ASSIST DEPARTMENT CHAIR: Maintain personnel files, schedule meetings/appointments; prepare correspondence; maintain office functionality, maintain timesheets with OneUSG; assist in communicating with faculty, staff, and students; assist with entering schedules into Banner; assist with the creation of marketing materials and other documents; process ePars for F and PT faculty; create, process, file personnel files for FT and PT faculty.
BUDGET: Monitor and reconcile all budget accounts for all department accounts; monitor salary and fringe expenses; generate monthly budget reports for all department accounts; generate reports to provide to the Dean's Office, as requested; create projections and forecasts of annual expenses; assist chair in annual budget requests; serve as principle liaison to AU Foundation for our foundation accounts; generate check requests for reimbursements.
COORDINATE & MANAGE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES: Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements for chair and department faculty; compile information for annual reports and other department reports; provide assistance to faculty ordering textbooks, making copies/scans, using university web systems, managing room assignments, proctoring exams; serve as principle liaison between faculty and other university administration and contacts/offices; provide backup for other faculty and staff.
PURCHASING: Coordinate purchasing of departmental supplies, maintain supply closet, hold a P-Card and manage purchasing card activities for office expenses; assist faculty and chair with purchases of necessary instructional material.
ASSIST STUDENTS: Assist and attend to new and continuing anthropology and history majors, and as necessary for those enrolled in departmental certificate programs (Health Humanities and Museum Studies) and minors (Philosophy, History, Anthropology); maintain student files, assist with graduation check lists; answer questions for students related to courses, faculty and campus; provide assistant to faculty and students during registration; assist chair in communications with majors.
MANAGING FRONT OFFICE: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and community in person, via email, and on the phone; maintain information boards and screen outside of department; coordinate clerical tasks
EVENT PLANNING & COORDINATION: Management of faculty, student, and public events, including the preparation of agendas; designing and developing presentations/handouts/slide decks; production of event marketing; organizing and coordinating room reservations and catering; setup and takedown for public or student events.
DEPARTMENTAL WEB MAINTENANCE: Update and maintain departmental web presence for external-facing pages and for intranet.
SUPERVISE STUDENT ASSISTANT: We plan to hire a student assistant this semester. The Admin will supervise the student assistant (20-25 hours a week) with duties in clerical areas, receptionist services, and other general office duties as needed.
OTHER: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
This position will assist the MCG Campus Associate Dean SW and the Assistant Dean for Curriculum: SW with day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the day-to-day operations and ongoing programming of the MCG Campus Associate Dean SW and the Assistant Dean for Curriculum: SW.
Maintain SW campus web pages (design, create and edit).
Develop and distribute publicity materials (e.g., flyers, posters, email announcements and newsletters).
Maintain outcomes database on SW campus students.
Complete documentation related to requests including travel, purchase orders, reimbursement for staff and faculty.
Coordinate ongoing programming (e.g., workshops, fellowships), events (e.g., visiting professors), and recruitment efforts including planning, publicity, housing and travel arrangement, A/V arrangements, room scheduling, food and all other logistics; monitor and route contracts for venue rentals, service level agreements through Department Administrator.
Serve as backup for MCG Academic Affairs administrative personnel and perform all other related duties as assigned.

Reconciles purchases and tracks income, expenditures, and transfers for all three budgets. Prepares and reviews monthly budget reports, notifying the Director of any concerns. Collects testing fees from test-takers and vendors. Prepares both physical and electronic deposits. Processes reimbursements, travel arrangements, membership renewals, and registrations. Makes equipment and supply purchases using the P-card and PeopleSoft for Testing and Disability Services budgets.
SCHEDULING: Schedules appointments for TDS staff, students, and internal/external departments. Assists with exam scheduling in the Standardized Testing Lab. Coordinates travel and logistical arrangements for departmental activities. Prepares correspondence and other materials for the Director and team. Maintains student and administrative files in accordance with AU standards.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES: Greets and assists all visitors to the office, providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and external partners. Responds to phone calls and monitors departmental email accounts; manages inquiries and messages related to disability services and testing. Supports students experiencing challenges that impact their education, helping to identify appropriate solutions or referrals. Ensures the office environment is accessible and welcoming to all.
TRAINING & SUPPORT: Assists with test proctoring and supervision, maintaining required certifications with specific test vendors. Provides backup support for testing operations as needed.
CREATE, ORGANIZE & MAINTAIN: Maintains the TDS calendar, including updates to test dates, test registration forms, presentations, and procedure changes. Creates and updates departmental publications such as pamphlets and informational materials in collaboration with AU Media and Communications personnel.
INVENTORY: Serves as Equipment Inventory Officer and space manager for TDS. Updates records to reflect changes in equipment and departmental space. Ensures relevant staff are trained as backup for equipment and space management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions, OR High School diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and six years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.

Job Summary
This position performs responsible administrative and secretarial duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of a Vice President, the Provost, or Dean to relieve supervisor of varied clerical and administrative responsibilities.
Coordinates the daily operation of Administrative and Medical staff, assuring compliance to all Augusta University (AU) policy and procedures, as well as the Georgia Department of Veterans Service (DVS), Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH), and The Joint Commission requirements. COMPLIANCE DATA: Responsible for collection and analysis of compliance data as required by federal VA and state DCH regulations and by The Joint Commission. MAINTAIN POLICIES AND FORMS: Assists in developing facility policies and forms. Maintains all policy and procedure manuals and forms on network BOX shared drive.

Join other dental providers to improve the oral health of Georgia and beyond. The DCG was founded to provide the people of Georgia with quality dental care by educating students in dentistry. As a patient, you have the option to receive treatment in one of our three different practice models consisting of student clinics, resident care, or in the faculty practice. All dental treatments can be completed by the specialists in our facility. We also serve patients in more than 20 clinics across Georgia.
Job Summary
This position will be based at the DCG Savannah Campus and provides administrative support to the Associate Dean of Extramural Clinics, performing duties of a complex and confidential nature nature, including but not limited to visitor reception, telephone coverage, correspondence, documentation preparation, reserving classrooms, coordinating with classroom services, assisting with appointments, travel, and expense reimbursement, accounting, filing, various project assistance, and other duties as assigned. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: Provide advanced administrative support to the Associate Dean of Extramural Clinics (ADEC) and Vice Dean of DCG Savannah Campus, including managing calendars, emails, meeting schedules, document preparation, travel arrangements, and expense documentation and tracking for the Savannah Campus. Additionally, order office supplies and track projects. Maintain confidential records and ensure efficient documentation practices. Coordinate onboarding processes for new staff.
In conjunction with the Associate Dean of Extramural Clinics, assist in coordinating and implementing clinical activities at the Augusta site and DCG Savannah campus. The role supports the ADEC in strategic planning and integrated implementation of DCG clinical activities external to the main campus. This involves facilitating the organization of clerkship rotations, hygiene clinics, and the development of new DCG external clinic sites. Additionally, aid in the expansion efforts of DCG to Savannah, Georgia, and other extramural clinical sites, and helps identify and secure additional clinical service opportunities throughout Georgia.
The position also supports quality assurance and compliance initiatives within extramural clinical sites, helps establish collaboration training to ensure CODA compliance for students receiving academic credit for internal clinical activities, and implements policies and procedures to maintain standards of patient care consistent with DCG clinics.
Direct day-to-day operations of the administrative office of the Dean and make changes as needed; ensure efficient work coverage and responsible use of resources; develop and promote policies that ensure positive interaction between administrative staff and other personnel; work independently to review/determine administrative/operational courses of action; organize office to ensure workflow is streamlined and tasks are delegated appropriately.
TRAVEL: This role involves determining appropriate and cost-effective travel arrangements for Associates/Vice Deans. Responsibilities include ensuring that all travel authorization and reimbursement paperwork is completed promptly and submitted in accordance with established guidelines. Additionally, it requires preparing comprehensive travel packets and all necessary documents before each travel event, creating and tracking travel logs, and creating travel budget spreadsheets.
RECRUITMENT: Oversee and direct recruitment efforts on behalf of the Associate and Vice Dean; work with Executive Search to assist in hosting all recruits that report to the Dean or as needed, for all other DCG Savannah departments.
PROJECT ASSISTANCE: Provide support for various projects by maintaining records, drafting reports, and tracking program processes. Organize and coordinate events, including travel arrangements and logistics. Preparation of grant proposals by the Dean's Office, requiring the ability to proofread and edit own work. Preparation of course teaching materials and public presentation materials. The presence of the individual may be required in attendance to facilitate the function, requiring evening and weekend work; ad hoc projects may be assigned.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Monitor budget expenditure, track and process reimbursements, and prepare budget reports for the Savannah Campus and all its departments. Provide comprehensive support for the Savannah campus and manage the Vice Dean's budget accounts. Collaborate closely with the DCG Business and Finance Office to ensure all budgetary requirements are met.
COMMUNICATION: Act as a liaison between the Associate Dean and Vice Dean of Savannah and other departments, faculty, staff, external agencies, and the Augusta campus dean's office. Respond to requests for information and follow up on assignments. Serve as a liaison for DCG Savannah campus administration, including coordination with DCG Dean, Augusta University, and Georgia Southern leadership.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.

Job Summary

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 304 students per class. The MCG educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, with regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state, and two four-year campuses located in Athens (in partnership with the University of Georgia) and in Savannah (in partnership with Georgia Southern University). Job Summary
This position will assist with faculty recruitment, attend meetings and take minutes as requested, assist in completing faculty evaluations, special projects and department events. Administrative support to select faulty to include but not limited to keeping calendars, updating CVs, tracking and submitting leave, preparing travel and updating PACT system.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE: Provide administrative support to Radiology and Imaging faculty to include: Answer phones, direct calls, take messages, answer questions, and manage calendars (i.e., reminders, cancellations, meeting coordination). Complete monthly leave calendars for assigned faculty. Assist Chair's AdministrativeAssistant with faculty recruitment and other tasks. Complete check requests, key requests, IDR's, transcribe minutes, prepare recommendation letters etc.
ACADEMIC: Maintain up to date assigned faculty CV's, to include converting new faculty CV's to MCG format. Maintain files for BLS/ACLS cert., licenses, DEA, CV's and CME for assigned faculty. Maintain photos/graphics files and biographical sketches for each assigned faculty. Coordinate faculty recruitment (i.e, make travel arrangements, schedule appointments, complete itinerary per BOR requirements). Assist with faculty credentialing and re-credentialing. Locate, retrieve, or request journal articles.
TRAVEL/LEAVE COORDINATION: Coordinate, prepare and process faculty travel and leave requests which includes: Prepare all required forms (ie. Travel request, check request). Process requests for leave and/or call changes (off-campus, annual, sick, etc.). Coordinate travel arrangements, if necessary. Assess clinical coverage needs. Ensure all coverage arrangements have been finalized before submitting to the Section Chief (s) for final approval. Ensure all paperwork is complete and finalized within 2 weeks of the departure date. Prepare expense statements upon return.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary
The AdministrativeAssistant 1 provides administrative and office support activities for the Dental College Periodontics department chairman and faculty. Responsibilities

MANAGE SCHEDULE: Manage the department clinic schedule every semester, ensure adequate faculty coverage for clinical and didactic schedule, submit approval and maintain record of leave request and ensure appropriate coverage for requested leave, order office supplies for faculty and staff, manage institutional record keeping
MANAGE TRAVEL: Prepare and submit forms/documentation on behalf of the department for travel, faculty recruitment, faculty appointments, purchase orders, budget amendments, leave requests, etc.
MANAGE COURSEWORK: Manage predoctoral coursework by converting and posting lectures in Desire2Learn, creating exams in Examsoft, recording grades and tracking completion of clinical requirements, posting final grades to Banner and providing support with the schedule and lecture reminders.

The College of Science and Mathematics provides students with strong foundations in the sciences as well as preparation for careers, citizenship, and a life-long love of learning. Job Summary
This position will perform administrative duties for College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) students and faculty at both the Health Science and Summerville campuses. This position will further be performing administrative duties for the college as a whole under the direction of the AdministrativeAssistant to the Dean. This position must demonstrate the ability to work independently,
professionally, make informed decisions, and communicate regularly with the AdministrativeAssistant to the Dean. This person must be proactive, positive, and work cooperatively as a part of a team, keeping in mind their role in representing the college.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to the College of Science and Mathematics' administrativeassistant to the Dean at both Summerville and Health Sciences campuses. Manage multiple delegated projects; prepare financial documentation (requisitions, IDR's, check requests) and maintain a financial spreadsheet of expenditures, serve as administrative representative to AU committees, serve as backup in promotion/tenure process activities, assist with events, manage printer/copier repairs and supply orders, and assist students, faculty and visitors as needed.
Provide administrative support to the college's Assistant and Associate Deans in their capacity as such. Perform communications; coordinate meetings, manage reports, and ongoing spreadsheets, manage facilities requests and work orders, and attend meetings.
Assume all duties for the administrativeassistant to the Dean during her absence. To include coordinating meetings for the Dean, faculty, and staff as requested. Attend internal college standing meetings and follow through on resulting action items, attend meetings with HR regarding CSM hiring activity, carry out all requests from the Dean, Associate Dean, and Special Advisor to the Dean, review all requests for the Dean's approval and ensure approvals have been requested from Dean or Dean/Provost, process Dean's travel, process Dean's leave, maintain deadlines for the Dean, work with AU partners (faculty affairs, registrar's office, facilities, etc.) under the direction of the Dean, manage all current projects, assess and triage inquiries, and carry out planned college events.
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions; or a high school diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and six years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working independently and making informed decisions.
Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's Degree is desirable.
Experience in an academic environment.

The Augusta University School of Public Health was established in 2023 to address Georgia's distinct public health challenges through exceptional education, innovative research, and collaborative community engagement. We are leveraging the strengths of Georgia's only public academic medical center, combining public health expertise with clinical knowledge to train future public health leaders. Our school is comprised of three academic departments: Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Data Science, Community & Behavioral Health Sciences, and Health Management, Economics & Policy. Job Summary
Performs complex administrative work involving considerable internal and external contacts, non-routine tasks, access to confidential information and administration of department policies and procedures. Judgement and initiative are frequently exercised in answering verbal and written communications and interpreting departmental policies, rules and regulations. Supports management for the School of Public Health.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide executive level support to the SPH that includes scheduling, making arrangements for meetings and conferences, reserving rooms, food service, travel and housing for internal and external contacts.
Answer phones and greet visitors to the office.
Prepare travel documents, IDR's and check requests for assigned faculty and staff.
Prepare written correspondence and reports, create agendas, design and develop meeting presentations as needed.
Handles and resolves complex issues independently and in a timely manner. Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the division/department and is responsible for interpretation and explanation.
Ability to procure a p-card and manage responsibilities of owning and utilizing a p-card properly.
Serve as a liaison between department and institutional contacts as well as outside institutions and the general public.
Order supplies using the PeopleSoft financials requisition/procurement system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
