Pros of working at Parker Drilling Co

Pay is on time though overtime you have to chase in recent years. It eventually gets paid but you often wait over two pay periods

They choose the cheapest flights of late they don't have the money for capital expenditure

No real benifits since it was floated on the stock market only the ones that are required by law

Parker has gone down in my opinion since Bobby Parker Sr lost control of the company and it shifted it's base to Houston

I would return to its old values and remove the top heavy culture that has evolved

I didn't they hired me on my CV back then the oilfield hands always knew someone who knew you so it was easy to get a job they just asked around

It is about middle of the road lately a little less than average
