WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Social Media Intern, you'll support the INDYCAR social team in daily management of @INDYCAR and @INDYNXT channels under the guidance of the Social Media Manager. You'll help bring the social strategy to life through content creation, community engagement, and fan growth initiatives. Working closely with the Penske Entertainment team, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape.
In this role, you'll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You'll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Social Media leads in day-to-day social publishing, content tracking, and implementation of overarching social strategy
Assist with all race weekend coverage during the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone seasons, including live clipping highlights for social posting
Continually identify trends and opportunities for community engagement across all social platforms through conversation monitoring
Create social content, including photography, graphics and short-form video and writing social copy for assigned posts
Stay current on latest industry trends and best practices, including emerging platforms
Able to travel to INDYCAR races, meetings and events as defined by the Social Media Manager and other departments

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Engineer in Charge is responsible for managing the operation, upkeep, and performance of the mobile unit. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively within the engineering team and independently under pressure.
As a key part of our engineering group, you'll ensure smooth production operations, provide technical leadership, and deliver high-quality experiences for fans, partners, and teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the interior and exterior of the mobile unit, ensuring all systems are operational.
Install, maintain, and repair all unit systems.
Review and confirm remote orders at least 72 hours prior to events, resolving discrepancies in advance.
Provide timely and accurate technical reports within 24 hours of event completion.
Maintain a detailed unit maintenance log and ensure follow-up on repairs.
Train and mentor new engineers and drivers.
Schedule, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff.
Lead the technical crew on-site, assisting with IMSP-owned or rented equipment.
Support production staff with event setup and execution.
Serve as IMSP's on-site representative, acting in alignment with company values and interests.
Consistently demonstrate professionalism and prioritize client satisfaction.
Monitor technology trends, recommend equipment or capital needs, and provide input on the condition of the mobile unit and required parts.

5-7 years' experience as an Engineer in Charge of large mobile units and large-scale remote productions (preferred).
Strong knowledge of the theory and practice of mobile video production.
Familiarity with 2110 standards and applications.
Expertise in the design, implementation, maintenance, and use of complex broadcast and presentation systems in a remote truck environment, including interpreting technical manuals and drawings.
Experience with broadcast equipment such as video recording systems (tape and disk-based), broadcast video cameras and monitors, video switchers, and non-linear video editing systems.
Proficiency with broadcast test equipment used to evaluate analog and digital signals, including meters, waveform monitors, vectorscopes, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and computer communication interfaces.

About the Role:
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:
Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)

Pay Range: $17-$18 hourly As a Safe and Secure Associate, you will be an integral part of the Safe and Secure Team executing programs and processes at our facility to ensure our associates, customers, and assets are protected. At our gates, you will be the face of Carvana to our associates, our vendors, and our visitors. You will ensure proper protocols are followed with egress and digress procedures. You will be well versed on emergency procedures and will be able to provide assistance when needed. You will play an active role in ensuring our Inventory Control procedures are adhered to.
A Day in the Life
Manage and properly document the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates. During bad weather, you will be stationed at the entrance/exit turnstiles to communicate with the team directly.
Proactively manage winter safety. Your primary focus is on ice risk mitigation. This includes ensuring our salt bins are full and strategically placing salt by each Inspection Center door, between vehicles in high-traffic areas, and at turnstiles. You'll be the first point of contact for arriving teams, greeting them with reminders to walk safely and be mindful of snow and ice, especially after a storm ends.
You will be the face of Carvana to our associates, our vendors, and anyone visiting a site.
Lead with effective communication with team, partners, and customers. Ensure you are a strong active listener and are incorporating effective dialogue.
Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and Logistics facility yard and buildings - documenting any security and/or safety concerns.
Become trained and certified on a variety of life saving measures such as first aid, CPR, and AED. Be there when the Team needs you.
Partner with your Safe and Secure Team Lead and Safe and Secure Manager to remedy the various requests we receive for badge creation, CCTV review, amongst other components.
Promote an incident ready focus everyday at your site. Understand our Incident Response Protocol and ensure appropriate actions are taken when needed.
De-escalate situations to ensure we collaborate with partners and team members; keep our Carvana value in mind, "we are all in this together".
Execute the facility Safe and Secure Principles at the entrance/exits. These Principles articulate processes to follow when allowing access and exit from the Carvana Facility/Lot.
Utilize our Safe and Secure Application (SAS App) and RFID Technology.
Deliver a service first approach in everything you do.

Added Responsibilities:
Winter weather safety focus helping to reduce workplace injuries.
This Associate will need to have open availability and flexibility to move their schedule overnight and to weekends when snowing/ice is shown in the weather forecast
Primarily focused on the salt bin execution by each of the IC doors, between vehicles in high traffic areas, turnstyles ,etc (majority of slips are on ice, rather than snow)
Secondary focus on snow removal, after ice risk is mitigated
This Associate will be greeting/communicating to the Teams when they arrive to the site, reminder everyone of walking safely and being mindful of snow and ice
This Associate will be running the snow plow and salt trucks daily for self performing snow removal sites (even non snow days between vehicles)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Vice President of Competition and Race Engineering for America's premier open-wheel racing series, you will drive INDYCAR's engineering and technological vision to deliver the best racing product possible. In collaboration with key stakeholders, you will take a balanced and strategic approach to strengthen the series, cultivate internal and external relationships, communicate a clear vision for progress and growth, and foster a culture of high performance across the organization.
The Vice President, Race Engineering is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping all aspects of INDYCAR's vehicle performance strategy, race engineering operations, and on-track technical integrity. This individual will lead the Race Engineering function-integrating data science, simulation, testing, and applied engineering-to ensure competitive, safe, and captivating racing throughout the series.
Serving as INDYCAR's central technical voice, the VP will work closely with teams, manufacturers, and suppliers to align technical direction and sporting regulations with the series' goals. This role will also play a key part in developing future engineering initiatives, including the design, development, and integration of INDYCAR's next-generation chassis planned for 2028-keeping the series innovative, relevant, and at the forefront of global motorsport technology.
This position requires exceptional leadership, deep technical expertise in open-wheel racing, and a forward-thinking approach to performance innovation and regulatory excellence.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serve as a senior engineering authority in regulatory discussions regarding chassis, powertrain, hybrid systems, aerodynamics, tires, dampers, and other vehicle components.
* Work with the SVP, Competition and the Director of Engineering to define long-term technical roadmaps, including input into future vehicle platforms and R&D initiatives.
* Act as INDYCAR's primary technical liaison to race teams, OEMs and suppliers (e.g., Dallara, Firestone, BBS).
* Chair technical working groups to ensure transparency and collaboration on key performance issues.
* Manages relationships with all specified equipment Suppliers associated with the car and related technical support.
* Provide objective, engineering-based insights that guide rulemaking and technical bulletins.
* Fosters a culture that reflects the organization's values, encourages superior performance, and rewards productivity.
* Evaluates the organization and staff performance on a regular basis.
* Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by the SVP and correlates with annual operating budgets.
* Directly supports the establishment or renewal process for all Supplier and Manufacturer agreements or contracts.
* Provides direction and oversight on the development of future chassis, engine, aerodynamic, and technical initiatives.
* Maintains ongoing aggressive efforts to enhance safety technologies.
* Develops future leadership within the organization.

Required Experience & Skills:
* 10+ years in senior engineering roles within top-tier motorsports (e.g., INDYCAR, F1, IMSA, WEC, or NASCAR), including experience managing technical programs or race engineering.
* In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, powertrain systems, and race operations.
* Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex technical ideas across various stakeholder levels.
* Proven senior leadership experience in motorsport engineering, ideally in open-wheel racing.
* Strong understanding of sporting and technical regulations, with the ability to balance innovation, competition, and cost control.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and teams.
* Experience in simulation, data science, testing, and applied engineering for performance development.
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating a clear vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strategic, forward-looking mindset with the ability to guide long-term projects, including major platform shifts (e.g., chassis or powertrain programs).
* Commitment to safety, integrity, and the highest standards of competition.
* Executive level writing and analytical skills

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Motorsports Engineering, or related field.
Leadership:
* This position has supervisory responsibility for a minimum of (2) full-time employees.
FLEXIBILITY & TRAVEL
* Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Extended hours required during race weekends and key event periods (especially May)
* This position requires travel to all race events during the INDYCAR Series racing season as well as occasional additional travel requirements. Flexibility and adaptability are key skills needed for this role.

Our Program:
This position is best suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience to launch their career with Penske. Our dedicated training program will prepare you to oversee logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control. Hands-on experience will help you learn to effectively manage driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, cross docking and customer service operations in a manner consistent with company services and cost objectives. Upon graduation from the program, you'll be prepared to lead a small group of hourly associates in a dedicated contract carriage operation.
