* Provide technical system information affecting long range plant and product engineering planning. Communicates with customer to identify new business opportunities, present Parker systems capabilities, and clarify customers' technical requirements. Write technical proposals for customers by reviewing and interpreting system requirements.
* Lead or participate in studies to evaluate or determine feasibility of new or modified equipment and related systems considering technical and economic factors, available resources, time constraints, and customer impact. Present study results and recommendations to appropriate people.
* Investigate pertinent system design factors such as function, performance, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, determining optimum solutions and implementing recommendations.
* Prepare or direct preparation of system layout, detailed drawings, and schematics by coordinating with engineering design, interpreting customer and functional requirements, or by using engineering computer-aided design tools and following industry and/or military design standards. Develops critical data and makes preliminary system layouts and documentation necessary to present system proposals to customers.
* Review drawings and layouts to ensure clarity, completeness, form, fit, functionality, and conformity to standards, procedures, and specifications. Identify design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies at the component and system levels, and directs revisions and improvements to engineers or other designers. Lead efforts to obtain industry/governmental agency approval.
* Refine and enhance products and processes by applying continuous improvement principles and technique. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses. Analyze proposed changes in methods and materials.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, benchmarking best practices, and/or participating in professional associations.
* Represent company on high-level projects and shares specialized knowledge with others. Train and mentor less experienced employees. Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum of five years' experience in the design of OEM construction equipment or US Defense Industry.

The Machine Maintenance Mechanic performs repair, modification and preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machinery, building equipment fixtures and systems. This role will also troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities:
Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains CNC machinery as well as standard facility systems.

Overview
The Quality Lab Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the Midland Quality Assurance Program within the Quality Inspection Lab. They are responsible for the gathering and analysis of data within the Quality function in support of manufacturing operation. The Quality Lab Supervisor utilizes quality and continuous improvement tools and methodology to enhance the quality assurance program, solve problems and rectify any issues in the correct way. They provide leadership and direction to the quality inspectors, including but not limited to: workload/assignments, inspection output, scheduling, conflict resolution, skill development, equipment usage, etc. Will be the key person to provide updates to management on Quality Lab performance.
Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and oversee operation of the Quality Lab
Supervise direct reports to ensure safety, quality delivery and costs metrics are met
Monitor and audit the quality of manufactured and purchased goods
Teach, coach and develop talent within department and organization especially as it relates to quality in support of Midland's products and services
Provide technical assistance as required to Quality Inspectors and others within the organization
Leads and directs inspection of PPAP samples and facilitate the communication between internal and external parties
Interact with the ERP (Oracle) system and manage the material movement on inspected goods
Ensure compliance with all quality regulations, standards and corporate policies including but not limited to AAR M-1003 for assigned department.
Supports Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality assurance program
Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve efficiency within Quality Lab while working cooperatives with other departments and teams
Conduct internal audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions
Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
Preparation of reports through collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations
Completes all job specific training
Accountable for developing and monitoring quality processes and practices necessary for legal and ethical compliance in assigned area
Performs other duties to achieve overall business unit metrics as assigned

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $131,200.00 to $218,700.00.
