Position Summary * The Training Program Coordinator will ensure compliance of the documented quality system to specified requirements (internal and external), promote and facilitate continuous improvement, and provide general support to the facility for the interpretation and application of internal and external quality program standards related to training. * This position is self-directed (minimum supervision) and interacts with all management and production employees to maintain and improve the overall effectiveness of the quality training program. Essential Functions * Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of quality training systems: o Schedule and perform internal audits of the quality training system as related to documented procedures, work instructions, and the ISO 9001 International Standard. o Effectively report audit activities and results and perform comprehensive follow-up of corrective action required pertaining to the quality training systems * Manage FAA/CAAC Training Program * Manage the Job Training Process * Maintain Training Reporting o Track past due/Upcoming o Manage and lead the Training Committee o Manage the Train the Trainer Committee o Report to Management Review the status and effectiveness of the quality training system indicators such as expired courses, evaluation feedback, the effectiveness of training, cost of poor training, etc.. o Manage the Customer Complaint and other corrective/preventive action programs as related to training. * Assist resolution teams with corrective/preventive actions related to human factors. * Maintenance, control, update, and distribution of quality system documentation. o Provide support and guidance to facility personnel in the interpretation of and compliance to the ISO 9001 International Standard. Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include some or all of the following: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the applicable specifications. * Identify defective conditions and test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation and/or calibration history. Inspection: Interpret specifications, charts and manuals. Use mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances. Work within the guidelines of drawings, schematics, blueprints, route sheets, travelers, quality directives, technical engineering specifications, customer's requirements and military standards and/or calibrations procedures. Observe and perform audits of a moderate scope or complexity on assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures. Qualifications: * HS diploma or equivalent. * 2 years' experience in Aerospace manufacturing, Inspection / Quality paperwork, etc. * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures. * Previous experience working in an NDT department or within an NDT function is preferred * Possess working knowledge of machine shop mathematics. * Personal hand tools may be required. * May be required to lift up to 35 lbs. * Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
