    The Supplier Quality Auditor Technician is responsible for supporting the Fort Worth Supplier Excellence and Receiving Inspection teams when difficulties occur with suppliers. Both independently and working in a team environment, perform periodic dimensional or mechanical inspection on a diversified line of supplier provided Aerospace components. Inspection may include sub-assemblies, and assemblies to verify conformance to blueprints and engineering specifications. Responsible for ensuring compliance to customer and Stratoflex quality system specifications and requirements. Provides training to new or less experienced employees Responsibilities Responsibility- * Acts as primary Supplier Quality point of contact for Fort Worth received products. Represent Stratoflex during supplier communications to assure Stratoflex requirements are met. * Act as a liaison between Stratoflex Receiving/Inspection team and Supplier Excellence relating to supplier non-conformances and supplier quality performance. * When required, perform quality review of documents including, purchase orders, supplier paperwork, specifications, blueprints, and other related documents. * Liaison with suppliers to mitigate paperwork holds and product issues * Conduct periodic dimensional or mechanical inspection of parts, components, sub- assemblies, and assemblies, for conformance to blueprints and engineering specifications. * Uses various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, comparators, and gauging equipment to verify conformance to customer requirements * Determines if products and/or components will be accepted or rejected based on specifications. * Provide assistance or guidance to Receiving Inspection related to questions about supplier product and documentation as well as Stratoflex and customer specifications. * Ensures compliance to Stratoflex quality system requirements. * Reviews new or revised specifications for updates to maintain current on supplier requirements. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to use discretion in selecting procedures and techniques to apply to work and determine priority and order of assignments * Advises manufacturing personnel of possible supplier non-conformities. * Assures timely processing of nonconforming supplier material and assists in the disposition, containment, reinspection, return and/or disposal process. * Acts as Stratoflex representative on product quality and Quality Systems issues related to suppliers. Qualifications Qualifications (relevant experience, education and training): * Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 8 years related inspection experience with at least 2 years experience * Must have experience using precision instrument measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, etc. * Must be able to pass required vision exam and color vision test on an annual basis * Able to implement and effectively apply lean/continuous improvement initiatives. * Able to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities. * Must be able to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. * Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. * Demonstrates strong computer skills. Able to access and interpret reports and use job specific software applications, such as employee self-service systems to access on-line information and use specialized automated systems (i.e., Microsoft, Solumina, CICS, email) * Demonstrates clear and effective communications with co-workers, supervisors, managers and suppliers about work product and processes and must exchange accurate information in these situations. Reads and understands written instructions and procedures including engineering blueprints, specifications and internal drawings and procedures. Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. * Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications required. * On-site position with occasional travel required to suppliers (as needed). The position directly supports the Fort Worth Aerospace facility, remote option is not available. Location: Fort Worth, TX * Frequency: Full-time/40 hrs. per week (8-hour visit, 5 days a week) Typical Mental and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to move about inside the plant to access tools, parts and materials. Responsible for ensuring compliance to customer and Company quality system specifications and requirements. Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: * Performs quality review of documents including, purchase orders, routers, certifications, specifications, blueprints, and other related documents. * Conducts final dimensional or mechanical inspection of parts, components, sub- assemblies, and assemblies, for conformance to blueprints and engineering specifications. * Determines if products and/or components will be accepted or rejected based on customer specifications. * Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, comparators, and gauging equipment to verify conformance to requirements. * Assists certified operator with devising dimensional gauging set-ups and performs part layout inspection (stanchion set-up and fixtures). * Reviews, processes and completes any required quality documentation (i.e. certification, packing slips, etc.) prior to releasing product from DSQR. 8. Performs and processes the more complex first article inspection on components, sub-assemblies and assemblies to AS 9102 requirements per the customer requirements. * Reviews first article packages on file for completion and assures current revisions are on file. 10. Ensures compliance to SPD and customer quality system requirements. * Reviews new or revised customer specifications for updates to maintain current on customer requirements. * Advises manufacturing personnel of possible non-conformities. * Verifies proper labels, identification and packaging of parts at shipping, if required by customer. * Complete any documentation at shipping, if required by customer. * When customer certified as such, acts as customer's agent on all product quality and quality systems issues. This is a hands-on leadership role that goes beyond people management, requiring the individual to actively roll up their sleeves and contribute to project execution. You will lead a cross-functional team while also providing direct technical and functional support for critical business applications like ERP and BI, translating complex manufacturing needs into scalable solutions. This position is a unique blend of project management, direct in-the-weeds project delivery and end user support. Essential Functions * Serve as ERP Subject Matter Expert & Business Translator: Act as the primary SME for the ERP system across multiple business functions. translating manufacturing needs into clear technical requirements and solutions. * Prioritize and Manage the Project Portfolio: Act as the central point for project intake, prioritizing demand and balancing resources to align all work with business priorities. * Lead Hands-On Project Delivery: Manage and execute complex digital/IT projects, providing direct functional and technical support to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. * Manage and Mentor a Cross-Functional Team: Lead, develop, and mentor a team of business analysts and technical specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. * Serve as an Influential Leader: Build strong relationships and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to secure buy-in and drive alignment. * Drive Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance project efficiency, reduce costs using Lean and Kaizen methodologies. Qualifications * Bachelor degree (required) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or international equivalent). * 7+ years of related IT experience, with 2+ years of direct experience managing a team. * Business Application Expertise: Proven experience with enterprise business applications (e.g., ERP, SCM, CRM, BI). Strong preference for candidates with deep ERP expertise. * Manufacturing Focus: Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional IT projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. * Adaptability: Demonstrated learning agility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position can be based out of Aurora, CO, Chandler, AZ, Grapevine, TX, or Houston, TX facilities. Relocation assistance is able to be offered to qualified candidates within the United States. As the Lead Product Engineer - Complex Controls you will execute administrative, engineering/technical, supply chain, and sales functions in support of complex switchboard projects/orders for the Satellite Business Unit. This position will serve as a resource for all Satellite locations. The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do: What you'll do: * Create control schematics and point to point wiring diagrams, when required, complete with standard bills of material etc. to ensure execution of satellite business unit goals. * Prepare all drawings and manufacturing information (3D drawings/modeling when required, mechanical drawings as required. * Serve as an engineering subject matter expert and point of contact for the product engineers within in the Satellites, and act as an engineering resource for product testing issues. * Train others on the use of engineering software programs, such as Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, and AutoCAD. * Assist with the product engineering role at satellite locations across the business unit, as needed. * Maintain good working relationships with customers, distributors, supply chain, Eaton sales personnel and internal plant personnel in support of a quality customer service effort. * Perform other duties as assigned.
