Position Summary The Production Operator will perform a variety of tasks involved in the manufacture of filtration media. How you will make an Impact (Job Summary) SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As the Sr. Director, Information Technology - Cooling Products, you will interface between the senior business leaders, local, and corporate SPX IT teams. You will be responsible for aligning IT and the business unit's strategic direction to assure that IT investments are delivering the highest value to SPX, serving as a champion for enterprise strategic initiatives including Digitalization, Mergers & Acquisition, and Technical Debt Reduction. You will be highly strategic and accountable for working collaboratively across the organization at various levels to understand business needs to enable growth and business outcomes. Ensure business unit priorities are effectively communicated to the IT organization, and facilitate the generation, oversight and delivery of IT support and projects required to deliver business objectives. Actively manage local IT leadership and teams. Identify appropriate technical and business resources needed to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meeting business and technical requirements. What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities) While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be: * Information Technology Strategy and Execution * Responsible for prioritizing, developing, communicating, and driving IT strategies aligned with business strategies; direct the IT activities and personnel to translate these strategies into achievable outcomes and tangible actions * Serve as the relationship linkage between the business unit and IT * Represent IT to the business by promoting IT's vision, value, services, and capabilities * Facilitate and serve as a lead for the prioritization, planning and initiation of efforts to enable the achievement of business objectives through the effective use of technology * Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant information to appropriate levels of staff regarding opportunities, initiatives, and requests * Work with peers to understand breadth of opportunity in an effort to maximize value of investments * Business Advocate: * Act as a business advocate to ensure IT services meet their business priorities and needs * Provide highly-valued strategic consulting support and guidance What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education) We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has: Required Experience * 7-10+ years relevant IT architecture, operations and application development experience with 5+ years' experience at senior management level, with P&L, Cost Center, or equivalent accountability * Understanding of business process management & IT relationship * Experience managing a virtual team * Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional projects from strategy to execution * Demonstrated expertise driving digital/AI transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Background in industrial manufacturing or equivalent environment * Strong analytical skills * The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis * Business case development * Expertise on a variety of business and technical concepts, practices, and procedures * Strong business acumen and technology skills Education & Certifications * A relevant Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science / Informatics/ Information Systems/ Technology/ Industrial Engineering/Business Management or Business Administration) Travel & Working Environment * Estimated travel up to 50% How we live our culture Our culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
