* Provide direct patient care from birth on in a busy FQHC
* Demonstrate knowledge of current standards of practice and perform current nursing practice expectations within established guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care from birth on in a busy FQHC
Demonstrate knowledge of current standards of practice and perform current nursing practice expectations within established guidelines.
Work collaboratively with clinician (MD, NP, PA, CNM, DO) to provide excellent clinical care.
Collect samples (i.e. blood, urine, stool or sputum) from patients and perform routine laboratory tests (i.e. lead, hgb, glucose, strep)
Prepare patients for examinations, testing, or treatments for all visit types
Perform EKG and spirometry
Perform daily pre visit planning with assigned medical provider per protocol
Administer vaccinations according to NYS and CDC guidelines for adult and pediatric patients
Administer IM medications as ordered (Toradol, B12, Phenergan, Cetriaxone, etc)
Conduct telephonic communication with patients regarding test results and follow up care needs
Maintain a clean work space and stocked and cleaned exam rooms.
Ensure all clinical care is delivered in a manner that meets or exceeds goals and expectations for clinical outcomes, quality assurance standards, state/local regulations, and patient satisfaction.
Complete all patient charting and ensure all patient records are current/complete with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current NYS state licensure as a LPN.
Direct experience in primary care (preferred but not required).
Reliable transportation between sites required.
Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Hourly Rate: $26.00-28.00 an hour. Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
