Stays current with advancements in nuclear medicine through seminars, readings, and professional organizations. Maintains positive working relationships with co-workers, physicians, nurses, residents, and patients. Ensures adherence to regulations, developing internal controls to support compliance with laws and guidelines. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 24 months minimum of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience. Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Medical Board. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or CNMT within 6 months of hire. Thorough knowledge of nuclear medicine technology, including relevant chemistry, physics, and biomedical sciences. Ability to administer intramuscular and intravenous injections and start intravenous lines. Experience operating Gamma cameras and nuclear medicine computers.
