I have extensive experience working on protected areas in Canada and Latin America, and on global biodiversity conservation policy through the Convention on Biological Diversity and the World Heritage Convention.

As Chief Scientist at Parks Canada, I manage a team of specialists dedicated to providing expert ecosystem-science advice and analyses to senior managers on current and emerging science issues of national significance in support of the establishment and management of protected areas.
